Photo Gallery Guide - How to Resize, Upload & Post Photos

Welcome to the step by step guide to the 420 Magazine Photo Gallery.

Upload all 420, Cannabis, Marijuana, Hemp related images to our Photo Gallery.
Including photos of you smoking, your smoking/vaping devices, plants, buds, etc.
Photos of anyone looking even remotely like a minor, will be deleted without warning.

DO NOT UPLOAD NON-420 PICTURES TO THIS WEBSITE, THEY WILL BE DELETED.

Resizing Photos

To start off, you need to make sure your pictures are the correct format.
Our gallery accepts jpg, jpeg, gif, png file formats.
Photo size must not exceed 1MB.

Photoshop for PC and/or Aperture for Mac to Resize photos in bulk.


Uploading Photos

Click on the Photo Gallery button that can be found at the top of any 420 Magazine page.

When the gallery main page opens you'll click on the 'Upload Photos' button.

When the 'Photo Upload' window opens you'll have three things to do.

First choose the category you want your picture in.



Second click on the 'Browse' tabs to gain access to your computers image gallery where you'll select your picture for uploading.



Third you'll need to click the 'Upload/Submit' button to begin upload process.

TIP: Insert your pics in the proper categories. Buds into 'Buds' category, Plants in 'Plants', etc. All of those images will then appear in your own 'Members Gallery' automatically as well as being available in their proper categories where most gallery gazers tend to look.


Inserting Photos In Threads

Go to the Photo Gallery, select the picture you'd like to insert in the post and click on it.

Once the new window with your picture opens, right mouse click on the photo and click on Properties.

The Properties box will appear, now highlight the photo's Location URL.



Then right mouse click on the URL and choose copy.



Now you are ready to post your photo.
Go to your post and click on Insert Image.



The Insert Image box will appear, make sure you delete the "http://" that is in the box.



now right mouse click in the box and choose Paste.



It should look like this, now click OK.



Now your photo is in your post.



Now you can finish your post and click on the Submit New Thread button.





Setting up a Photo Album in the Gallery

Click on the Gallery button at the top of any 420Magazine page.



Once the main gallery page opens click on the My Albums button.



On the next page click on the Create a New Album button.



Now enter the name & description for your album.



Then click the Create a New Album button.



Now you will see your album listed here.



Now you can start to upload photos to your new album
On the right hand side of the page click on the Upload Photos button.



When the upload page opens make sure to choose your album here.



Now click on the Browse button to gain access to your computers image gallery where you'll select your photo for uploading.



When you are done finding your photo click on the Upload/Submit button.



Now you can go to the main Gallery page and click on the My Albums button.



And view your album.

FOR MAC USERS
Right mouse click on your photo and choose "Copy Image".
If you are not using a two button mouse, you will need to hold down your CTRL key as you are clicking on the photo then choose "Copy Image".
Now follow the directions above in the "Inserting Photos In Threads" section of this guide.
