Emery's Wife To Take Over Business

Canada's Prince of Pot is handing his crown to his princess.

Pot activist Marc Emery told a Vancouver business licence hearing yesterday that he was transferring control of his Cannabis Culture Headquarters to his wife, Jodie Emery.

"She is an exemplary person and she'll be an excellent business person," said Marc Emery, who was at city hall for a third day to appeal the city's rejection of his business licence renewal.

Emery is surrendering himself to authorities on Monday for extradition to the U.S., where he will plead guilty to selling marijuana seeds through mail.

Emery withdrew the business licence application yesterday in order to transfer directorship of the company, Avalon Sunsplash, to his wife, his accountant and his lawyer. The new directors could then petition for the renewal of the business licence.

Vision Coun. Geoff Meggs said the city had seven points of concern with Emery's appeal. The main one is that it is illegal for someone to run a business after they have been criminally convicted in connection with that business, he added.

"Much of city staff's concern focused on a conviction that he has for possession in Saskatchewan a few years ago," Meggs said.

Marc Emery, AKA "The Prince of Pot" A Cannabis Warrior will to a USA Federal Prison for an estimated 60 month sentence, as I understand it. WOW, gee the Taxpayers are now fliting the bill for approximately 40K per year to house Marc. At 5 years the math is pretty easy to say $200,000.00 for selling cannabis seeds yes online and into the USA.
Now, let's consider the amount of time to get here and those costs for one man 10 year investigation. NO, forget that, let's estimate it to be approximately to be
(Federal and International DEA and the sorts are not cheap)2 million a year in overall costs to the USA Taxpayers to do this at 10 years or 20 million dollars. One man to get:
For what again? A seed from a plant, what does a seed have over a federal bueracracy? What possible harm can a simple cannabis seed bring? Is this seed going to bring down an entire empire, is that what they are afraid of? What powers does this seed hold and contain that we may not know out here, but they do? It must be quite a demon to them to have caused so much grief? Who are they anyway? Simple questions for a simple seed, I only ask these questions to all of us here as Marc was instrumental in many ways of bringing to light and market the international cannabis seed business as we see it today, and as many millions of us have used it in one way or another.

Im never surprised at how outlandish our government is. How old is Marc anyway? I have to check that. Hang in there Marc
