Bishop Calls For Ban On Blunt Wraps

Chicago - Blunt wraps, a kind of roll-your-own paper that's larger than a cigarette, are cheap and available in many stores. But opponents, including Bishop Trotter, say they're actually a make-shift rolling paper used to smoke marijuana, and want them banned.

Sweet Holy Spirit Church on Chicago's south side was packed on Sunday. 1500 congregants strong came not only to pray, but to sign a meditation to ban a little cigar from being sold.

Bishop Trotter wants to ban the blunt wrap and says it's drug paraphernalia.

This week Bishop Trotter will talk with the pastors of 50 different churches, asking them to support a state bill that would ban blunt wraps.

Law enforcement from across the state are backing the bill.

Bishop Trotter is organizing a group of supporters to head down to Springfield on Monday, March 22nd.

They will present their petitions to State Legislators.

Okay, Bishop. If you ban blunt wraps, then what are people going to use in its stead? Bible pages? Not everyone willfully abstains from every sort of non-religious pleasure that you call a sin. In fact, does the Bible not say that man is able to use every plant bearing seed? Does the Bible not say anything about alcohol use? Did Jesus not turn water into wine? We are objectively proving that cannabis is less harmful and addictive than alcohol every day. Why are you trying to deny a person a route of drug administration? It's not going to stop people from using: people will find other methods or will unroll cigars.

i paraphrase because i don't feel like looking it up, but the bible says that believers should not concern themselves with the things of this world because they are not of this world. so to concern themselves over blunt raps is to sin.

the bible actually makes really good paper if you don't have any... there nice and thin and easy to roll with. rip out a blank sheet from the beginning. I admit to doing this several times ahahahah
