A New Hampshire House committee recently voted to kill a bill aimed at legalizing the recreational use of marijuana, according to The Eagle-Tribune. The House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee voted 11-7 to recommend killing the bill, with some lawmakers saying they want to see what other states do before considering legalized marijuana use. Even if the bill were to pass the Legislature, Gov. Maggie Hassan has said she'll veto it. Supporters of the bill remain hopeful that a similar proposal will eventually be approved in New Hampshire.
