Legalise Cannabis Alliance campaigner Mick Pryce, known as Cannabis Mick throughout the county, died last week aged 59.
Mr Pryce, of Barrack Street, Norwich was well known and respected in Norwich for campaigning for the rights of cannabis users, as well as for his work as a charity fund-raiser. Mr Pryce stood for the LCA last year in Norwich's Mancroft ward as well as in 1999 and 2000. His nephew, Robert Griffiths, 34, said: "He fought hard for the cannabis cause. He was a colourful character and a true individual and will be sadly missed." Alun Buffry, national coordinator of the LCA, said: "Mick will be missed by a great number of people in Norfolk." Mr Pryce's funeral will be at Earham Crematorium on Wednesday April 27 at 12.45pm Source: Evening News (UK) Copyright: 2005 Archant Regional Contact: EveningNewsLetters@archant.co.uk Website: http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/ |

I hope it isnt smoking related. I'd rather him get hit by a car, than to 'just die' of natural causes. Because imagine how that makes other marijuana users look...
"Oh, so and so died at age 59 of 'natural' causes, but he smoked marijuana since he was 14..." I just hope it isnt marijuana related, and I hope people dont think it is. |
