Good morning All:
I am new to this site and I am fairly new to mj. My first time was with my husband (who is no stranger to mj) a couple of months ago. Sometimes life tosses you a nasty curve ball and the only thing to help sort it all out is a little mj r&r, or so I am quickly learning. I am a professional in the insurance industry and I have a most wonderful child. This is the only thing that makes me wonder "WTF am I doing, doing this crap?" however, as my mother put it, as long as she is safe in her bed at night, and you are not driving anywhere, and the childs overall risk is minimized, then it won't hurt. Did I mention that my mother is a Nurse manager and a Pharmacy Tech? OUI! Anywho, if you wish to shoot me an email, I really would prefer to converse with people in their thirties or older, whom have expierenced life, and are also working professionals. Not that you twenty-somethings are lacking in good conversation, but that I just rather talk to people in similiar lifestyles with a bit more life expierence. Other than that, I am open to any topic of conversation and will be as honest as possible. Cheers All! |

35, 9 year old son... (Non-professional)
Welcome to the boards! Btw, there's nothing wrong with getting a little buzzed off MJ...Your child will be just fine! ![]() I find that I spend much more 'quality' time with my son when high. I don't smoke around him, but I'll sneak a smoke from time to time, then after, have some of the best times together. It helps me connect more on a mental level, or something. Enjoy your stay...

I agree with faroutman.... Alcohol much worse than ganja.
Not to feel guilty Saturn, I am professional as well, and know lots of others that smoke (some MDs too!) that have a better understanding of the drug and its effects. The key as with anything... moderation and commonsense!

Hello. Well I too agree because the problem with alcohol is tollerence, and aggression. For one Alcohol poisoning, 2 anger. I am a happy drunk but alot very from types, like I know people who drink beer and are fine if they touch liquior they are a beast released from its cage, and I dont think anyone likes puking. I have only puked off mj once and that was when I was in NC a month ago I hadnt smoked in 2 months and I smoked kind bud all day and night hadnt eaten much and got dizzy, other then that Ive never been angry on mj, never had to go to a hospital on mj and only puked once for good reasons. Also on mj you dont feel full of liquid you just feel full of air and life and happiness.
God bless the ganja and Budda Pray for God with a bong. |

I agree. When my mom drank, she scared me, but when she smoked, she was so nice and sweet to everyone, and paid a lot more attention to me, and listened to me and played with me. She was great, I'm glad she smoked. I mean, she had stress in her life she had to deal with, and that's cool. She had no reason to be ashamed to smoke because it's not something bad, it's just something she did to enhance her life, and there's nothing wrong with that. You should not be ashamed about smoking at all, all the negative stuff is just propaganda from corporations that have a financial interest. |

Greetings, Saturn13...
45 year-old dad, two teenage boys, 18 and 15. They know that Dad likes to smoke some herb every now and then (and that Mom and Dad followed the Grateful Dead around before they were born), but they are both straight-arrow kids, no drinking, no smoking, no drugs. And it's really been their choice. I credit three things: -- Boy Scouts -- Church -- Home-Schooling When they hit college (which the older one is doing right now) they can do anything they want, as long as they don't hurt themselves or others.....
