new to growing

Howdy (just couldn't bring myself to say "high"). I'm new here and am new to growing my own under CA law. I've obtained my clones and now need some input on the use of indoor lights. Seems overly complex, expensive and prohibitive to purchase these pricy sets. I've 4 babies and they need light. Any suggestion for the newbie on a fixed income?

Greetings!Their are many forms of lighting from HPS,CLFs and LCD.Take a lookat the grow room,there you will not only find lighting,but many ways to do an indoor setup.Welcome to the sitebake one up,and enjoy.

If money is the issue, I would go with compact fluorescents, or CFL's.

get as many "general purpose" cfl's as you can (47w (150watt rated)) and read read read. Lots of info here.

For flowering you will want 2700k or 3000k from what i understand, and again, get as many as you can.
