Hi, I'm new to all this, but my son talked me into it and I'm looking forward to participating with like minded folk.I have doing my thing since the early sixties, and, with varying success growing since 1979. Since retiring to Spain the difference is amazing.The last three years I have produced plants between 6 and 8 feet tall and the quality has been incredible, but I don't know what seeds I have been using as I just used some that were in some stuff that I bought and I just took POT luck and let it go. Even the local Spanish keep coming around to have a look. They seem to think I do something different with it, but it is just natural. I do use a heavy mix of goat shit once a week, maybe that helps, I don't know, any comments?

Sounds like a good idea, as soon as we get winter over and growing again I'll get onto that. I would like to experiment a little this year and see what comes up! I think however old we are we can all learn some more.

Yeh, we always have been very close and any good stuff we tend to share. I have posted a picture of one of my last years plants on my profile page, it is about 7 feet at that stage but it got to 8 feet by harvest time. Unfortunately I had to crop it early as we went on holiday to Philadelphia to see my daughter for a month and travelling back to Spain was not an option.

Hey mate good to hear from you, I'm looking forward to another good crop this year, I think I'll sow a few more and experiment a little and see what comes up. Best time to visit is mid October when they are just about right, judging by last 3 years crops, very best of luck with your's, pottybob
