As a four year cancer patient I am looking into the advantages of using the new LED technology vs HPS or MH for a more efficient means of providing myself with the medicine I need.

Check out our member Be Irie's LED grow journal. Reach out to him he's a good guy and I'm sure he'll give you an honest opinion of growing with LED vs HID lights.

From my understanding:

Good:
Low heat, low power consumption. Quality growth. Looks trippy :)

Bad:
Ex$pen$ive. Slow growth. Unsure of bud development as I have not seen an LED grow go to harvest with strictly LED's.
