Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. I have been trying to figure out if I wanted to go LED and if so what light set up would work best. Have to get the electric bill down LOL. Blessing to all. Lil

Welcome to 420 Magazine
![]() Here's a great thread that debates the merits or LED LED vs. HPS Here's another where one of the master growers here uses one to fruition LED Grow Test There is a new type on the market called Tri-band, but I've not personally seen one used in flower yet. Hope to soon though.

Soniq 420: Well as far as I can see LED are great for veg, not for flower. But, there was a place that said they found the perfect combo for flowering. According to these distrubutors the majority of brands on the market are just ripping you off by adding colors that are not needed. Blue and red are the only one's you should need for either, add white for flowering. Those that sell more light combos then that are full of it. Orange does nothing, not a spectrum even needed. There was a combo but have to run soon. But I don't know if we are willing to spend the money on something that would not flower. So we are going to try one's for vegging to cut down on heat in the room and electric bill, but will wait until we have more customers before we switch for flowering.
