Jack Herer Memorial Service - Photos and Commentary
Jack Herer was my hero, mentor and friend, may you rest in peace my brother.
June 18, 1939 - April 15, 2010
Please enjoy the photos I shot in this pictorial of Jack Herer's memorial service.

Jack Herer's daughters River Walker-Herer and Chanci Herer saying goodbye to their father.

Jack Herer's 420 Program Guide for His Memorial Service. Also shown is a leaf from the bag we were tossing into Jack's grave, along with a joint of a strain called Queen of Clubs, donated by J.J. Greenfield. Queen of Clubs was Jack's card, in J.J.'s "Book of Cards", it was an honor to share those moments with him. Also shown are Cannabis flowers of Sativa OG aka OG Kush aka Skywalker OG, the flowers we tossed into Jack's grave.

mar·tyr /ˈmɑrtər/ Show Spelled[mahr-ter]
–noun
1.a person who willingly suffers death rather than renounce his or her religion.
I think this explains just what Jack was and is. A true person who is willing to do not just what he could, but what he couldn't as well. All the way til death, up to his last day. He is a true representation of a soldier fighting for a cause. we miss you Jack. Your memory is and will always be with us all. RIP JACK
