Indoor or outdoor? 4X8 tent
Soil or Hydro? Hydro
If soil... what is in your mix? coco/perlite 70/30%
If soil... What size pot? 5gal
Size of light? 5X Mars 720wt.
Is it aircooled? 8" exhaust fan and 16" circulator
Temp of Room/cab? 75 - 85+f
RH of Room/cab? 40-60
PH of media or res? 5.8
Any Pests ? no
How often are you watering? once a day. till runoff
Type and strength of ferts used: GH Flora Nova Bloom throughout the grow.
GH Kool bloom
GH CALiMAGic
Go Bioroot
Canna Cannazym

This group started a couple weeks ago in RW cubes. I then moved them to red solo cups for 2 weeks and now you see them in the 4x8 tent. I mix my nutes using RO water 50 gal at a time. Airstones in tanks to keep them mixed and aerated well. This is d DTW setup, but I'm thinking of changing to a recirculating drip feed system soon.

Temps can be a problem this time of year for the barn I'm in, but I do what I can. Should be an interesting grow for me. Autos always worried me as to production vs. a nice veg. first. We shall see!
As of tonight, only four of seven have been
topprd. The ones that are are marked with a "T" on the plant tags. I'm going to leave one to only some LST on her. The rest will be topped and some LST training. I hope these girls get some legs soon and take off. It seems a slow start to an 8 to 9 week finish.

Anywho, what follows is a few pics of the startup and current resting place for the ladies:

Glad to have you along, Book.:high-five: I see you're new on here. How far along is your girl? Are you planning on making a journal of your grow? In any case, thanks for stopping in. We're about to learn about autos. Well, I am, anyways. I'm a virgin.

Happy trails, Andy.

My plants are still in a period of infancy, i've started a grow journal on here but the majority is yet to come. My first experience with Autoflowers too! Guess we will both be seeing how they go.

Good luck to you!:Namaste:

:goodjob:i like your set-ups,:high-five:your growing room is awesome:bravo:
I think temperature around 75°-85°F will be fine.As long as your exhaust system works well, temperature will not be a big problem.:high-five:
In your last pic,i saw little problem with the leaves, you may need to pay attention to that little one.:Namaste:

re: 7 x LSD-25 - Coco & Perlite - LED - Topped Autos

:welcome:Welcome, Catnip & Sara. Good eye, Sara, that one is about a week behind the others. Needs to catch up to the rest. This room has no way of cooling so when the outside temps get above 90f, it's hard to keep the tents cooled well. It's a pain, but it works. Had plenty of success with the room so far.
I should mention that I started these girls with regular well water - Ph-ed to 5.7 They were placed in a cup of water for 24-36 hours and then into waiting RW cubes. From there on to Red solo cups for a week with just Ph-ed water. (has a TDS of 370 out of the well). From there into 5 gallon smart pots. Three have a coco & cork premix that I wanted to try out. Curious as to the root growth and how well it holds moisture. The other four are coco & perlite. The coco & perlite that I'm using is older stuff that has seen 3 & 4 grows in it. I use Canna - Cannazym to ensure good bacterial growth. Also, I use CALiMAGic for the coco since it tends to use it up quickly. (5ml./gal.)
At this point, over the last 6 days, I've slowly brought the PPMs to 1170. A number I arrived at last year that seems to push about as far as I want to with nutes without any burn. They're taking full strength now with no problems so far.

Sara, I have to say, I'm fairly happy with these lights. I have 8 of them now and they do a pretty good job. A decent light for the $.

I've been reprimanded for saying anything else on the subject, so we'll leave it at that.

Hope you all have a fantastic day and all your plants double in size! lol

Oh, hey Catnip, I just noticed you're a newbie, too! Have you started a journal? I'd like to tag along if you have, m8. You and Book need to get the journals into your signatures so people can see what you're up to and join in if they like. (Food for thought)

Havent started a journal yet. thinking about it. Just got my setup together in my basement. I'm here to learn how to grow inside. been growing about 6 plants outside for years finally got me a room going in the basement so I dont have to worry about varmints

re: 7 x LSD-25 - Coco & Perlite - LED - Topped Autos

Okay, sorry guys, I've been busy with some other grows and haven't posted in a while. At this point we're somewhere around 21-25 days or so. I have to admit I didn't mark down when the seeds did pop. But I'm close. Anyhow, #8 is a week behind the others and is considerably smaller. #2 has some really deformed leaves and I don't think it's going to amount to much. Very disappointed with the seeds thus far. The breeder does stand behind them, but it needs to be all documented and shit. Just not worth the hassle.
I was beginning to worry about these girls, they seemed to be very slow starters as far as growth goes, but in the last 3 days they have close to doubled in size! Impressive. My nutes are at full strength now @ 1170-1200 ppm TDS. Ph is @ 5.7 and temps have been high @ Daytime - 83-90 and night @ 73-78f. Not much I can do about the temps in this barn. We're surviving. lol
I have 3 pots of coco&cork and 4 pots of coco&perlite. I swear the girls in the cork are doing better. They are a bit bigger in size and a deeper green to them. The jury is still out on the cork, though. I'm not crazy about how quickly it dries out. I think this would be a great media for a recirculating system. Mine is drain-to- waste. (soon to be changed over)

Well, the pics. Seven girls.

And for shits and giggles; here's a couple of 2 Supreme CBD Kush girls I have started. Tomorrow the get 2 Mars 900 watt lights to veg under. This is a 600 I used in a pinch.

I did 3 CBD Durbans last year and they were monsters!!! Can't wait to see what 1800 watts (about 800 true watts) on 2 girls in a 3X5 tent - SCROGed will do.

That's all for today, kiddies.
Peace,
:Namaste:Andy

re: 7 x LSD-25 - Coco & Perlite - LED - Topped Autos

Well, here are at about 5.5 weeks. I am not liking what I see in my tent. If I had had 8 clones ready 2 weeks ago, I'd have yanked these things. Totally dismal grow! Of the seven I have going, two are around 24". Two are around 14" (One of wich isn't topped) and three are sitting around 12". One of them is the week behind - un topped one. I have removed 0 leaves off any of them. The tall ones are horribly airy. Big gaps between nodes. (no, it's not due to the light distance from the tops. The lights have been kept about 6" from the tops throughout.

A few pics to show where I'm at:

It's hard to see, but the purples are starting to show.

Two girls have deformed leaves. One is so bad, the buds aren't forming rite.

The short ones are just that. Short. waaaay to fucking short! Lol

This is really frustrating to me. The nutes and mixes I'm using have served me well on 5-6 (at least) other grows of all different strains. I've been vegging two Supreme CBD Kushs' for 5 weeks now to load up a SCROG and I'm seeing perfect growth. Both growing at almost identical rates. Both full. Both packed and stacked with nodes!

20160704_010112.jpg
These girls have been super cropped and some healthy LSTing along the way. But that's a story for another time......

Temps have been up and down. Doesn't help. Lights on = 82-84 degrees. Lights out = 75-78. Humidity around 50-60%. TDS - 1170 ppm. Nutes @ 78degrees (not optimal). I haven't noticed any difference in the coco and perlite and the coco and cork. The cork dries out a little sooner and would probably be a better choice for a recirculating system. I think it drains better. What I'm really after is to see the root development by comparison. Both have plants with taller ones and shorter ones, so There isn't an issue there.....

To those reading along I say this; this is a cool looking plant (if you don't end up with a mutant). It is NOT a good commercial growing plant. Too bad, because the buds are going to be really different. If you have a little room in your tent and you want to try something different, this one is for you. If you want more than an oz. off a plant, this one is a pass. I feel I've wasted 2 months of my life that I can never get back. Hahahaha.

Oh well, shit happens.
I'm sorry this is so late in coming.... 4 other tents going... 4th of July weekend.... and everyday life has just gotten in the way here.

Thanks for dropping by!
Peace, Andy.
:Namaste:

Hiya, Dusty, my friend! :ciao: i had all sorts of troubles while on this grow, including running over my phone with a tractor. I gave up trying to upload pics to keep this journal going.

A quick summary of what I ended up with? Okay:
Four midgets combined fetched me a dry weight of 5.2 oz. (disgusting!)
One @ 2.6
One @ 6.
One @ 5.4

This was a horrible, erratic grow. The numbers show that. FastBuds offered some replacement seeds, but I declined more of the same. I did pick out two other strains of theirs, but it's been more than a month and have yet to see anything cross my door.

Currently, I'm working on a 2 plant Supreme CBD Kush grow with its own set of problems and a 4X8 with 14 cheese and CBD clones in it.

My advice for growers on the LSD 25? Looks great, tastes great, nice high------If you're not looking for volume, this is a fun plant. But can't be counted on for consistent results.

Thus ends this nightmare. lol
:peace: Andy :Namaste:

Oh, one note-worthy item, I used a new product of premixed coco&cork on 4 or 5 pots and I have to say, the root development in those pots was significantly better than the perlite pots! I'm switching over to that for a while and see how it goes. If anyone gets the chance, I recommend picking up a bag and trying it out for yourselves. Do your own comparisons. much more micro root growth was made.

:Namaste:

Hope all is well in your world.
