You right bout da elecric. My other grow box is LEDs which I'm gona use for veg'n when these are havf way flowering so I can just keep the grow goin on and on.
When i chose my seeds for this grow Blackjack just sounded good spose to be a really long lasting high. They are so short and bushy that I'm gonna keep in veg a little longer.

I've already been watching yr grow. Great work

hey thanx MED..i'm going to build a D.I.Y led soon i've done it before but i know that it wont compare to what you 've got going.I'm going to post it in my thread its soo ghetto but it will do the job.But i really cant wait to see that blackjack i'm going to watch this closely.If all goes well with you then i'm def going to order.

Well, I think yours might actually be better. Mine is a 90w UFO.
There are many conflicting reviews on it.
You can pick and chose which LEDs you use by brand.
So you have the option to make it for veg or bloom.

As you can see I have yellowing leaves and spots on some leaves.
This is the start of week four. They looked fine last night. This morning I found yellowing leaves.
Here is what I have done so far. Looked in freq. asked questions. I found it could be nuts or pH. I got out my cheap eBay pH meter and stated to work.
It reads light, moisture and pH.
Light was 3000 lumins, moisture read very dry. I watered 4 days ago and added 1/4 the amount of Big Bloom the the FOX schedule recommend.To be on the safe side. I usually use the finger in soil to tell if they need water, it felt a little moisture so I have not watered since then.
I did water today since the meter said they were dry. The plants soaked it up quickly so they were dry.
pH read at 4.0. Crap! I cleaned the meter and tried it again on all plants and got the same reading. Cleaned it again and checked the water I have been giving them, same reading of pH 4.0. I let my water sit open in a cabinet for 48 hours to get ride of the chlorine.
Tomorrow I will buy some lime. Question is how much lime do I put in?
Actually the question is do you think I am doing the right thing???

you said you had a ph pen?
is it calibrated?

do you have fresh soil?

Soil FF Ocean Forest with 20% more pearlite
pH is 4.0 so you are right

My pH meter has no calibration that I can find. It's junk. Like $8. It has long prongs that you stick in the soil.
I have no up down kit. All I can find is hydro stuff.

well without getting yourself PH down & Ph up liquids, that you should find at a hydro store your pretty much chasing your own tail.

a good start is flushing your plants with RO/Filtered water 3x your container size, should get you on the right track and gice you some time to go buy some supplies

just make sure to flush with filtered water,

Anything that will bring your feedings' and waterings' Ph to 6.3-6.8 will work

i use a soil pen like that and i've been using it for YEAR.They dont really go off thats the great thing about those pens since thier not digital then they dont go off at all really unless you throw the damn thing across the room.Yeah i still use my digi to measure the run off.BUT i must say that soil pen you have is gold.The best 8 bucks you'll spend.
