So we have a problem. Well a couple. Firstly, I'm stupid and didn't lock our closet up, which leads to the second. That being, I've completely taken apart our closet and have 4 (Yeah, one of the SC's didn't make it but one of the bag seeds sprouted! Yay!) seedlings in cups on our balcony because the exterminator came by and after spraying our living room, walked out onto the patio and right into our closet. He didn't say anything and just kinda acted like he didn't see it, but I think it's pretty obvious what it was.
As you can imagine, we went into panic mode and I immediately went and dug up the plants and moved them into cups so they could be easily moved. I dumped the soil into a large trash bag and stacked the pots and tables up like we hadn't used them for a while and if anyone asks, we're going to say we were trying our hand at home grown fruits and veggies and that it didn't work. I'm heart broken, scared and pissed off all at the same time. I really really really want to do this, for her, for me, and for you guys but wtf? Why does this kinda crap have to happen to us? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I mean, I'd hate to destroy these plants so soon after sprouting, I mean, they didn't do anything. ![]() Thanks ahead of time. ![]() Quote:

Damn bro, that does suck. I know the feeling. I live in a somewhat shady area and I am always double checking everything. Most likely nothing will come of it, but stick to your story. Keep them going. I would get a locking doorknob and replace the one to your outside storage space just until you vacate the property.

So after discussions with the better half, we've decided to stay with it. Last night I put everything back together (sort of) and I got the plants back under the lights. I think 2 of them had too much shock and may not make it. I'll get some pictures up in a little while, there's cleaning to be done around these parts and I have 2 baskets of laundry to put away, but after that, I'll get some up here.

So where are we at? After one of the craziest weeks I've every had, here's where we stand. The second MA sprouted but due to my transplanting craziness, I killed it. Along with both of the Strawberry Cough and one of the bag seeds. So we're left with one MA and one bag seed. The bag seed looks rough. I don't know if it's the genetics, the pH of the water I'm using or the heat but this little thing looks rough. Anyway, here's some pictures below. The MA's looking fantastic as usual. I'm really pleased with those seeds.
MA: ![]() Bag Seed: ![]() See the curling of the leaves? I wish I could get my macro to focus on the plant instead of the dirt below it. So that's if for now. I apologize for the delay in posting, I've had a rough time the last few days, but, all is getting better.

Not much to report on today. They still look the same. I'm leaning toward a pH issue with the bag seed. I watered them last night. Trying to get on the bi-weekly watering schedule. I'd say I'll have some pictures up soon, but given the last time I did that it took me almost a week, I'm not saying anything other than: Pictures, eventually.

Hi MacMota and Mrs MacMota
Well, sounds like your out of shock from the haps before. Cool. That funny looking spout might make it. Thats the way mine looked when I started my grow. Sure looks Indica dominate. Glad you doing good and all is well.

Macmota,
Sorry about what you've been through, glad to see that you have at least one plant with good genetics that survived. Are you going to germinate more seeds or just try to finish the two that lived? I don't know if you're looking for advice but I'll throw in my .02 anyway. I would veg for 3-4 weeks and use the FIM technique to generate as many shoots as possible. I would then cut off 80% of the shoots for clones and flower the remains of the parent plants for 10 days while the clones root. In an ideal scenario the MA plant would be female and provide a half dozen or so clones. The parent plants would be discarded and the clones would then be vegged using FIM and/or LST for another 3-4 weeks before flowering. This way you can still get a decent yield for your trouble vs. growing a single female all the way to harvest. Whatever you decide to do I'm here for you man.

Alright, day 21. The MA looks fantastic, I'm truly amazed by this strain, and with the weather cooling off a little, both the plants seem happy. The bag seed still has some twisting on that first set of leaves, I doubt it'll go away. No biggie though.
I'm going to water them here in a little while and I'm going to start the first dose of nutes. It'll be really diluted and it's just to get them used to it. I'll probably veg for another 1 - 2 weeks and see how they look, then on to flower. Technically, I could go to flower this time next week but I think I'm going to wait a week, just for the hell of it. Got a few pictures of them here. First up, MA: Next is the bag seed. The more I looked at these pictures, the better I realized that it's doing! Quote:

Yes they do! I was concerned that you might have dumped them since we haven't heard from you in a bit. I'm glad that you decided to hang in there.
