Thanks so much. They are drying now and holy cow, they are some thick and very stinky buds, I am kinda sad there are seeds in them. I will try the pinch out method once they are a little more dry, 4 to 5 day I would think. Thanks for stopping in and you comments are greatly appreciated.

I am pretty amazed with the size and how thick these buds are and the smell, holy cow strong overpowering, amazing. I did use fox farm nutes since I was only going to use them for seeds and not smoke and I think it really made a huge difference. Thanks so much for your comments and stopping in.

Yes I am sure I got a bad batch. I know this happens my only concern is the company stopped selling these seeds and had some fem hybrid they are now selling. I just think they where old and they where trying to get rid of them. All others seeds I have that are from this company had a %100 germination rate. When I had 3 out of 10 pop from the first batch they did send me 10 more that had the same issue 2 out of 10, thats 5 out of 20 popped, 2 turned out to be male, One was very weak and slow and died in the summer and the 2 are just little babies so we will have to wait to see how those turn out. And they did send me some random seeds for my trouble which I think is kind of weak on there part. It takes along time to start a grow and you really don't want to wast your time and space on seeds you have no idea of there genetics, its sort of a waste of time. And is that not why we go to the seeds companies in the first place. If we did not care where our seeds came from we would all grow from bag seeds. I probably would not have used the random seeds except I am going to throw them out this winter to see what happens so no loss on time its just for fun if they turn out to be crap genetics, oh well not really a loss. I just think they got a little greedy with me and where trying to pass off some old seeds. Understandable I guess, why pass up some dollars. But they did lose a customer in the process, I mean I would be pretty stupid to order from them again when there are so many other companies out there that I may or may not have those issues with. Anyway, sorry to be so long winded. I try to stay as positive as I can. I just think its nice to have peoples opinions good and bad so when people make there decision its a informed one. Whats your method for germinating the seeds?

straight to the dirt?
paper towel with humidity dome or plastic bag

Most of the time, I soak them overnight and put them into a cup about a quarter inch down in the soil with plastic rap over the cup held on by a rubber band. and placed in a warm dark place.

Most of the time this works great. The only time I have used the paper towel method was on the Durban Poison when I was not having much luck with them with my usual method. I don't really use this paper towel method cause I don't really like to touch the seeds after they sprout, it just seems to me that too much can go wrong. Thanks for stopping in...

Just thought I would throw this in here for a little filler.

This is my first attempt at producing seeds. It is a cross between Bubble Gum and Super Lemon Haze. It looks like I have a few seeds in there so I am pretty stoked about that. I had a couple that popped out during the drying and fell on the floor and they are looking nice a ripe. I have the rest of the seeded buds curing in a jar. I will let them cure for a week or so and then remove the seeds and see what I got. After that they will go in the fridge for a week or two to improve germination thanks to the advise of SettingSun. Then off we will go. Anyway here are some pics.

Nice job on the seeds sonzor, maybe never again get a bad batch from a seed bank. Good plan to let them rest a while in the fridge, said to make them more viable.
The bud is looking pretty decent also, seeds or not.

Thanks Mmmmick, That would be nice not to have to order seeds, Thats just another worry I would not have to stress over. And the buds di look good nice and frosty, I think I probably have a ounce or so of it. I read the buds are pretty much useless for smoke but they do look so good I might have to give it a try. I think that is the idea. Trick the seeds into thinking they have already gone through winter. Makes sense to me.. I have done that with strawberry seeds for a late strawberry grow but never with MJ seeds. We will see how it goes. Thanks for stopping in and your comments..

Thar be seeds in them thar buds!! Sonzor, that is some damn fine looking buds bro, lookin like pastry in a delicatessen with that white powdery crystals. Hope ours turn out as well. Great work!
