Papaya Wreck - Got BOG?

Yeah, I know I was supposed to get serious about the equipment but why waste perfectly good cfl's and time. I will be doing my cross of Papaya and JW. Like I said before this is going to be my long term project until the strain becomes stable. I think I will continue learning a little better if I just stick with these 3 strains for now and finally get to the max potency of these medications. I figured why not have fun with it you know, I will be doing pollination again and a couple of diff. experiments now that I have many test dummies. The SCROG will be BETTER by adding 3 vertical screens and making it a BOG or Box of Green.....

So the materials are:

CFL 27 watt blue
CFL 42-65 watt red
Fox Farm nutes
1"x 1" mesh
soil from true value
solo cup to 2.5 buckets
Perlite
Fulvic acid on 3 of 6 (experimental)
Bio tone
dolomite lime
Well water (soft)
3x3x4 grow space

also, I was told that any Fulvic and Humic Acids will be Neutralized by anything other than RO water.

I want to see the 3 vertical screens and how you do it. Been toying with an idea of a vertical screen grow outside. Don't think the neighbors would know what the hell it was.

Hope the house is coming along. Every time I think of you, I think of your kids playing in that great yard you have. Probably getting cold there.

PHATBLUNT, since this is going to have im thinking 6 plants I was going to use it on half of em' but farmers have been using it forever and I don't think there water was RO. Any info. or link would be very much appreciated, thanks again and take care.

andOMM, I hope I don't disappoint ya. and yes half of the roof is done, we have a crew doing the vinyl siding at the same time so the last thing they are doing is popping out the windows and put in new ones before they start on the stairs and deck. I am sort of glad that it didn't happen in the dead of winter.

Well, I guess I should start off with the plan. I was reading about breeding a new strain and it says... that I don't stand a chance and that you really have to be born a breeder or something like that. I am doing it anyway and if it doesn't work out because the new plants are weird and explode with nothing but man nanas then at least I tried.

The one thing that I am thinking about doing is changing my FF nutes with something less expensive like Miracle grow or schultz plant food. If the seeds turn out some nice healthy plants this first go then I think the more expensive nutes can be used on the next.

12/12 from start until I have sexed the plants and then pick out my girls and 1 boy to continue the cycle. Veg them for another month, start shaping them to fit under the screen with LST and topping. I think I will have to install the walls first and have the 5 plants vegging half of it up the screen and the other half LST toward the middle and the 6th plant.

The plants would be like this and the front center one is only one not going up the screen. I am thinking of 1' vertical screen on the back and two sides.
The chamber needs painting and the elec. needs to be re-arranged. But really that won't take long. Just keeping my fingers crossed on the new strain and hope it goes well. I guess if this strain doesn't put out I can always use my JW seeds and do it with those.

^thats funny Octo mom. ....I really never considered starting a new strain or crossing them. I just didn't know there was so much more than just sprinkling pollen on a few buds. Lets get them thru germination stage and see if they come out with roots and leaves. I'll have to check around for more info. on the subject. Thanks again for the info.

Ill look for a link, but that info was from a conversation i had with my Hydro Store guy.The subject came about when I asked about the Rooter's Myccorhizae I wanted to buy, he asked if I run RO because hes seen countless amount of noobs spend hundreds $$ to create an enviorment in their soil with Myccorhizae and Fulvic and Humic Acids only to kill all the bacteria with their unfiltered water.

Sounds like you have a great plan and can not wait to see it all work out. I also am doing a little breeding myself over the winter and I am pretty sure I was not born to do it but I will give it a shot also. Good luck and will be watching for sure....
