Alright, hardware not mentioned. 4" Vortex, Phresh Filter 4x12, Secret Jardin DS 2.5. I have roughly 550 into setup with odds and ends, exhaust tubing, two circulation fans(one broke right at 4 months exactly), yo yo's, 90 degree 6" adjustable bend etc...

Ok, so my grow is already under way, but I keep records on paper so I'll be referring to my notebook, and memory. I'm going to be accurate and truthful throughout the Journal and not hide any issues or problems that could easily be hidden with pictures or angles of the plants. I've been growing(mainly outdoors) off and on for 20 years and I still get excited like a child on Christmas morning opening presents. I am in CA, so Prop 215 compliant, and I grow for Myself, a friend, and my Parents(super lightweight smokers). Back on track, this is my second grow with the LED light, first round I hit two ounces on a wild plant(plant wasn't uniform at all, random regular seed, test run) that I fimmed, not a fan of FIM indoor personally, so back to what I know, topping and LST training.

Here is a picture of my last grow that displays how wild the plant was and all the wasted light/space. Awesome smoke, and not bad for a plant that wasn't 2 feet tall(23 inches from bottom of soil).

On with the Journal, I picked up two Bay 11 Clones from the CC on 1/8/15, very healthy and right around 5 inches tall and well rooted in 2x2 rockwool cubes. I drove home and immediately put them in half gallon (.71) containers with Roots Soil, tablespoon of Lime mixed with soil, and Mykos' directly under clone as directed. With this method, you should experience NO shock whatsoever. I prefer the Roots Organic(I've used FFOF in the past, it's a little hot for young plants IMO) for seedlings or clones, enough nutrients to get them off and running.

Here is a picture of the clones 5 days from transplant. I started the clones about 32 inches away, in the 5 day picture, 24 inches.

Day 6-10 I slowly lower the light each day until I hit 18 inches. I didn't water the clones for 10 days (nine complete days, watered the beginning of day 10, always beginning of lights on). I topped both clones on Day 8, otherwise not much going on above ground. At this point, there about 7 inches with being nipped/pinched.

1/18/15 Day 10 I gave both Bay 11 girls a teaspoon of Sweet Raw, and half a teaspoon of 5-1-1 liquid Fish Fert per gallon. There is a little nutrients in the soil, but it's not enough in my experience.

1/20/15 Day 12 I can see beautiful white roots showing at the bottom of the pots, real close to a transplant. They are really starting to catch fire now. I am averaging 73 degrees and 45-55% H with lights on, I couldn't be happier with the LED environment.

Both are ready to be transplanted. Two weeks in the 3/4 gallon pots, yup right on schedule.

Doing this ALL in ONE day is work, what did I get myself into. :)

Jan 23rd Time to transplant, the clones were already moist, so I mixed up the Roots soil in a big Salad bowl so it's not completely saturated. There is plenty of perlite and coco in the soil so excessive moisture squeezes out and doesn't clump up at all. Transplant is straight forward here, I do however like to massage the bottom of the rootballs since they are really tight in that small container by this time. So recap, I didn't water initially for 10 days, in 5 days for transplant, they were still moist enough to let go another day or two, but I don't want to delay growth at this stage, so being conservative with the water is prudent.

Another great day, 68/73 degrees

I did water/moisten the new soil with 1/2 teaspoon of FishFert 5-1-1 and 1tsp of Sweet Raw. I didn't use the whole gallon, maybe half.

Jan 25th Day 17

I broke a top branch bending it, oops need to be more careful, I had some duct tape laying around and made a strip of tape band-aid.

Jan 28th Day 20 from CC One thing I did forget to mention is I run the GLR light cycle. I am saving 4 hours a day from the last grow and loving it. There are preflowers everywhere just begging to be flipped.

Ok, finally a watering/feeding from the transplant, so 5 complete days, watered beginning of Day 6 right on schedule.

Feeding: Earthjuice Grow 1tsp, Micro 1/2 tsp, no Bloom, 1/2 tsp Catalyst, 1/2tsp Sweet/Raw per gallon of chloramine free water. I have never had to PH water, but I have checked my water it's neutral or slightly lower, and with nutrients, 6.6ish 6.7. I checked just for the sake of knowing, but that's about it.

Since I added fresh soil 5 days ago I went low on the nutrients. They are really starting to develop now, You can see the broken/repaired branch, it layed down for awhile, by the next morning, raised up the LED Light like nothing ever happened. The Bay 11 clones are vigorous little suckers, I think they like LED's. :)

Looking good man!:thumb: I'm thinking about adding a tent that size to my grow. I'm gonna pack a bowl sit back and tag along for this grow!:tokin:

Thank you much, I probably should of went 1 plant but I'm going to make it happen(trim, train, bend, whatever it takes). In August, I'm hoping to upgrade to a 2x4x5.5 tent, Anything above a 1/4 pounder is double last time, hoping 5 ish if I'm lucky, suppose to be heavy yielding strain. There's a guy on the Tube' that grew some in 2013, pretty big tops that's for sure. First person to stop by, much appreciated kind Sir. :)

Jan 31th 2015 Day 23, Day 4 of watering and will be getting a feeding tomorrow. I have been bending the taller tops here and there to let the smaller branches catch up.

Feb 4th Day 27 from CC Bay 11 Clones

Still moist so no water/nutrients needed, this is Day 4 of feeding. I built a Scrog net, this is temporarily in place at the moment, just mocking it up. The clones are really becoming plants, nodes are starting to spurt out everywhere. I have been slightly bending the taller tops here and there to get a level playing field. I hear these plants are Indica in Veg and Sativa in Flower, I'm getting a little nervous when I should switch being 80/20 Sativa. Trying to be patient, but man, I did the calculations, I can only go 16-18 inches above the screen. This is my first time with a screen, I've done topping and LST for years but never a fixed screen. I wish I knew more about these clones(practically), last round they only stretched 8/9 inches, but unknown genetics being a random seed.

Feb 5th I tied the main tops down of both clones(basically garden ties, like bread twist-ties, but as long as you need), 6 main tops per plant.

Feb 6th 2015 Bay 11 Clones

Day 6 of watering instead of 4, will need feeding tomorrow, I did bump up the dose, and the plants are really starting to cover the smart pots with foliage. There are nodes breaking out everywhere and starting to make me nervous being a High Sativa. I may need some recommendations when, there 6-7 inches from the screen.

Feb 7th Bay 11 Clones Day 30 from CC

The clones went 6 full days without needing water/feeding. I could of watered on Day 5, but I tend to let my plants dry out if there is still enough moisture for another day.

Feeding: EarthJuice Grow 3tsp, No Bloom, 3/4tsp K, 1tsp Micro, 3/4tsp Catalyst, and 3/4tsp Sweet/Raw.

I also fixed the Scrog Net today, it was all crooked and what not. It is very sturdy and rigid currently, I'm trying to hold out as long as I can since there not quite to the screen.

Feb 11th Bay 11 Clones 34 Days

The clones went 4 full days this time, instead of six with the new feeding schedule, that's good news. The clones are taking up more so I'm hoping by the 20th to flip, I'm still nervous to flip them since they are 4-5 inches away from the Screen. I only have 4 square feet(16 or so inches to play with since screen is at two foot mark) so I'm hoping I haven't let them go to far. They are 4-5 inches away(24 inch mark) from screen still so I wanted to let them get to the screen and flip, any help is greatly appreciated. That 80/20 Sativa number has me worried.

Alright, that's completely up to date, if anyone has any practical experience with Bay 11 I would greatly appreciate the input. I don't think the plant will triple since slight Hybrid, hoping double at 16" so 32 inch plant would put me perfect.

Dimensions: Smart Pot almost 8 3/4 inches(call it 9)

Led: 12 inches away and right around 6-7 inches for light clearance(19)

Plant Height 32 inches(from bottom of soil)

32+28 is exactly 60 inches (5ft)

16 inches would be right at the top of the screen, which should be in a week or so. I am no longer bending the tops, I need vertical growth now since I have established plenty of nodes/branches. I'm hoping my math and timing is right, I've heard to fill up the screen for best results, or fill 80% and flip if stretchy so I'm back and forth. I'll vape on it. :volcano-smiley:
