PlanetJ's Crazy Crammed Corner

Hey all,

This is where I will be featuring my experiments, vegetative cycle, other plants and mushrooms, as well as eventually my soil cooking experiments, compost stuff, worm stuff, etc. etc. etc. Basically, everything not related to my flowering girls, in either the big or small tent.

Currently, it looks like this

Some herbs there, two Salvia plants, and whatever else I take an interest in, will end up there as well :p
I'll be showcasing any DIY projects here as well in case I get to building stuff again ;) (still need to build me an aerocloner :) )

Thanks for watching :)

Yup, they are already breaking the soil .. 2nd one is showing as well, 3rd is about there as well .. in about 2 hours, I expect to be able to show 3 seedlings :)

That means they took about 2 days to break soil, as they where soaked for about 12 hours on feb 20 and dropped in soil by the end of that day, officially the 21st. That's pretty fast ... /me like :) No heat mat or anything, nothing special in the soil or water.

8 hours later, they all seem eager to get going :) The strongest of the bunch will become the mother.

In order of breaking the dirt:

Okay, so it's not as crammed any more, and I rearranged the lights. It's still not what I want it to be, but for now this will do. Panels with alu-foil are placed against the wall, and provide reflection back to the plants.

In other news, the Doctor is doing great .. 3 sprouted, and all are doing well :)

They will move straight from these containers into their final ones, same as pictured above.

Thanks for watching :)

And yeah, the mums are missing from the corner atm .. they are on the table, drying up a little, before I take some more cuttings .. not sure what I'm gonna do with them .. perhaps I will plant them in the garden :p

So, the corner is a little less crammed now. I rearranged the lights and pots, and I will probably be DIY on a regular basis here till it is a half decent grow space :p

I also took the next batch of clones .. altho they are still sitting in the water, as I ran out of time, and dont feel like it now .. they will live :p
This also means the mums have been pruned:

The Doctor was doing extremely well .. her roots, in all 3 cases, where already at the bottom of the pot .. they have been repotted :)

The 3 'The Doctor' seeds are doing fine .. they are in their final homes. The biggest one will become the mother I think. Makes sense to me :p

Also, the Exodus Cheese cuttings .. on the left, with the light green new growth, are the cuttings from my new Exodus Cheese mum .. they look a lot better then the ones of current mum, to the right.

Everything going fine here as wel, like in the 'big tent' grow... everything cruising along, nothing to do :p

The Doctor seedling that will likely be promoted to mother

Small (yesterdays) update:

The cuttings at day 3 or 4 I think it is ..

Two of 'The Doctor' seedlings .. I watered them a day or so ago at half strength .. they seem not to have minded too much :p (aka loving it)

Exodus Cheese mum v1, and the future 'The Doctor' mum.

They have doubled in size overnight .. I'll post pictures of that later today.

Little update on The Doctor .. they are doing extremely well I'd say .. this still being their first week. The 3rd one is likely becoming the new mother.

The rest of them are being plants .. not much to see atm :p

Little update here .. yesterday I discovered that a recently purchased clone from another species of non discussable plant I bought, was infested by aphids. I hosed it down with BioShark's Dislike .. they is dead now. I had a few wandering about on my new Exodus Cheese mother .. and a few on the old mother as well. I seemed to have been just in time.

They will be treated with dislike every other day now, till no more aphids are visible on the plants, and then once a week for the coming month to make sure. I will also piss on their graves. Or something like that. Grrrr.

I should be mad at myself for not catching it sooner tho .. the plant is here about a month now. If you see white specks on otherwise green leafs, start looking for bugs.

I forgot to take pictures in the 'save my f-ing plants' frenzy that occurred. I could show dead aphids on soil if anybody likes to see that ...

The Doctor seedlings are doing great .. I think I aimed right with the designated new mum. She's the first. She's still outperforming the other two. I'm thinking about cloning them all, and flowering them all .. and then deciding on a mum.

I have something funny happening in my compost heap .. I have no clue what I threw in there, but it seems happy there .... there is about 14 hours between these two pictures ..

So little update here as well .. clones are all still alive .. non of them rooted yet .. I think we're week in the water now :p

The last straight to soil cuttings are rooting by the looks of it.

The 3 The Doctor seedlings are doing great .. and about not to be seedlings much longer:

My compost bin ... I need to turn it .. but I am too curious wtf is growing there ... dont mind the cuttings .. they will likely go below the surface soon :p
