First Grow - Bag Seed

2 Seeds just sprouted a couple days ago. waiting on a few more one isn't looking so good ill post a pic. Thanks in advance for all your recommendations.


I'm currently looking into a 400w hps/mh lamp but for now they've been under 5 23w cfls in organic potting soil. Should have better lights soon.

This is the one that looks pretty good to me. What do y'all think?

This is the one I'm worried about its hard to see but the rounder leaves look super yellow. And it hasn't grown like the other one.

Welcome to ozzy. My seedlings looked strange at first give them some time, they always come good
Try not to over think things, that was my biggest drawback on my last run.

So I had to pull the second sprout it shriveled up and died but another one just broke ground.

I wouldn't have thought so, I'm assuming you mean moving them outside for the day and back under the CFL to fill your light cycle.

Yup that's what I meant I didn't know if they would have a hard time adjusting between the two.

Can't see it being an issue myself but I'm not an expert by any means. Be careful with pests etc tho, don't wanna be introducing anything bad to your grow room

Thanks for the input and is there any preemptive measure to control pests that you know of? I'll keep a close eye on them and I'll update with pics tonight.

I use a warm water with neem oil and natural soap in a sprayer. Hit them hard with it every two weeks at lights out. Had an infestation of thrips last time out. Don't want that again.

Looks more like the soil has some nutrients in which is just too rich for such a young seedlings. The first one looks like it's going to be a strong one as only the shell leaves seem to be slightly affected.

Thanks for stoping in when I finally pulled it I saw it only had like a cm of root but another one sprouted so I have 2 again and they both look happy and healthy so far. I'm gunna post pics tonight when I bring them in.
