Hi there friends...This is my first grow after almost 10yrs.

Will have one pot thru their lives ;)

Height: 65cm-100cm
Harvest: 65-70 days indoors 80-100 outdoors from seed

What is that insect?

-I find lady bugs and let them play on my plants sometime. I have pictures in my first grow journal.

Re: Who's that friend or foe?
Lacewing - Friend Especially their larvae:

They are voracious predators, attacking most insects of suitable size, especially soft-bodied ones (aphids, caterpillars and other insect larvae, insect eggs, and at high population densities also each other). The larvae may also occasionally bite humans, possibly out of either aggression or hunger. [3] Therefore, the larvae are colloquially known as "aphid lions" (also spelled "aphidlions") or "aphid wolves", similar to the related antlions. Their senses are weakly developed, except that they are very sensitive to touch. Walking around in a haphazard fashion, the larvae sway their heads from one side to the other, and when they strike a potential prey object, the larva grasps it. Their maxillae are hollow, allowing a digestive secretion to be injected in the prey; the organs of an aphid can for example be dissolved by this in 90 seconds.

Just stopping by to wish you good luck with your grow. I'm about to transplant into some of those smart pots tomorrow for the first time ever, I'm looking forward to seeing how they compare to older style pots. All the best :thumb:

PS. You may find the link in my signature helpful with your photographs if you don't have an additional light and are a bit savvy with Photoshop or another editing program :thumb:

Estella...

Btw Kriaze the Photos from LED lightning is awesome. :goodjob:
I'm looking forwards to get them when budget allows,a bit tight now

Btw...

Suzy had her spider mites cleaned(Just beggining to show up)
Spotted on routine uderleaf check, tough didn't notice the bottom of the stem.

After clean found a Laceving (Friend) hope to see some larvae :thumb:
Will have her resprayed today with plain water...used soapy water on first go.
In few day's should get delivered organic spidermite killer

Now off to bed... ;)

Bad luck with the mites there. I've had them myself along with Thrips and used SMC Spidermite Control along with Diatomaceous Earth (also a great source of Silca for the plants) with great success. I don't think either one would have done the job as well or as quickly as using both. They're both available here in the UK and are pretty cheap too. In fact with the amount I bought at low cost I have enough SMC for another bout if it ever occurs and enough DE for quite awhile, the DE is a great all rounder (I use food grade DE just lightly blown over the soil and leaves).

Some people make their own sprays from Rosemary oil and chillies, or one fella used a homemade tobacco tea and if I remember rightly that was a success eventually too. Good luck :thumb:

Thanks friends for such a good knowledge... :thumb:

Allright, checked Lucy today,no signs of any spidermites.
Gived her a good feed @1/2 dose bloom and 1/2 dose Cal/mag
Looks Nice ;)

They dried out nicely,so gave them little feed.
All little ones had Super Thrive and Cal/mag @ 1/4 dose.
The big :) :) Lucy had feed of bloom @ 1/2 dose and cal/mag @ 1/2 dose.
Tough Lucy's pot so small, feel that she needs a stretch.

That bug is awesome try and keep her about. I found a whopping spider in my grow room other day.
If I ever find a lady bug I tend to let them free in my room

Thanks :thumb:
Looks like there is no pests left, but you will never know.
Nice to look on them getting bigger, same time inspect leaves and buds.
Yesterday look that there is net in one of forming buds, but that was just a leaf, stuck to the bud :)
Regarding the foliar spray for pests should be sprayed when lights go off, right? ;)
I think then bugs start moving around.... ;)
When can i start do ponytailing, and topping.
2 Mystery plants will be for training purposes.
Mystery 1 will be for ponytailing,Mystery 2 will be for topping.
Autos will have LST and care :thumb:
