Lil Neutrino, i thin it may be about the time to transplant to a bigger pot if the roots are showing out the bottom. I can't tell the sex from those pics, take more in a few days.

Ms. Robinson was looking very wilted this afternoon when I got up (went to bed at 4AM, oops), so much so that I decided to water her now instead of waiting six hours for the lights to go off and come back on with an hour of wake-up time included. I think she's perking up a bit already (edit: yep...40 minutes later she's gone from a very unhappy, droopy to the point her leaves were straight down back to her usual perky self). Lilly needs water too but is still happy atm...I need to check Freja's pot to see how heavy it is and check her soil moisture via the finger method (edit: she's good until tomorrow, just checked). Must go find transplant pots today so I can transplant tomorrow just prior to their dark period.

I looked at the n:vision at Home Depot (don't think you have them on that side of the pond) but their spectrum was 5000K and I couldn't find a mean lumen rating on their website. It is basically devoid of any technical information, can't even find wavelengths, and to me that's a "three strikes, you're out" failure...if you can't provide basic technical details on your product it makes me wonder if you're telling the truth. So...I went with a major manufacturer whom I trust.

Got all three of the women (hopefully) transplanted tonight...more FFOF with added perlite, put the two big plants (Ms. Robinson and Freja) in to 3 gallon grow buckets and put Lilly in to a hand-me-down 1.5 gallon (I think, not positive) bucket that one of her big sisters used to reside in. They weren't root-bound yet but definitely were working on it at the lower levels of the pots.
Freja's roots (upskirt porn?) ![]() ![]() Ms. Robinson's... ![]() ![]() And Lilly...the pic is in focus, the blurry roots are a bunch of micro-roots like the pic I previously posted :-) ![]() Roughly two hours later they are mildly drooping but that could be from the watering or the transplant, I'm leaning towards watering since the last time I transplanted they never showed signs of shock ![]() Ms. Robinson has one leaf that has yellowed immensely, probably related to the wilted state I found her in when I rolled out of bed this morning (afternoon). I'm going to leave it on until there isn't any green left in it. Also picked up some flowering nutes today but need to research to make sure I got the right ones. Told them I was about to go in to flowering and wanted to stay organic, wound up with some Earth Juice nutes...Bloom and Catalyst. I haven't opened them yet so I can still swap them out if need be, I'm sure the Bloom is correct but not positive with the Catalyst. I'm pretty sure that's the two the guy said would work well. He was all about the FFOF soil but didn't even point out their nutes when I asked about what to use. He pointed out some Age Old Organics when I said I was on a budget and said he had used them a few years back and had ok results but recommended the Earth Juice over them, only about $2-3 difference. He had some new stuff in that he wasn't too familiar with made by Roots Organic so I skipped them. He also mentioned some nutes by Botanicare...and a few others but he said they weren't organic. Sooooo...Earth Juice it was. Comments? Suggestions? I'm not in flowering yet but should be within a week or two... Edit: Just wanted to add that if I need nitrogen I have some Mexican bat guano (10-3-1) that I can use, I have read a few threads discussing making it in to a liquid tea. Need to reread them...or if anyone wants to rehash anything here that's great too!

Thanks again MJ...I should tally up all my receipts to see exactly what I've spent so far, might do that later tonight.
Plants appear to be handling the transplant well, no signs of shock yet and it looks like they've already started another growth spurt! I swear the main steam of Freja has grown a good 1/2"-3/4" since yesterday but I can't prove it lol. Anyway, I'm seeing some branches starting to alternate as I posted pics of the other day so Tuesday (5 weeks old to the day) if all is well I may very well begin to induce flowering. May post some more pics tonight of them in their new pots.

Pics...again... :)
All of them in their new homes... ![]() Lilly, her leaves are a bit on the light green side but otherwise healthy, not really worried ![]() Ms. Robinson, she was so mad at me for not watering her in time when she wilted the other day that she decided to start turning one of her large fan leaves yellow. ![]() Tip of her main stalk ![]() Freja, both shots from the end of her main stalk but opposite sides ![]() ![]() And that's all for now folks!

Alaskan Ice day 56 - 420 Magazine Photo Gallery His have two branches at the same node but it appears they are alternating at 90 degree angles as you move up the stalk. Time for me to go check my plants again to look for this pattern lol.

I drilled 4 holes in the top just big enough for zip ties to fit thru and hung my lights that way in my box. I also used a staple gun for some added suport, but as long as its not gonna fall any method will do, Keep on growing brotha

Well hell...bad news :(
Lilly Ms. Robinson Don't they know those are female names? Gonna have to comb over Freja some more, the pic I took didn't come out...I think I may cry if she's not a female. Tried to germ four new seeds a few weeks ago...only one sprouted, it's in the styrofoam cup in the pic above.

Keep trying man, you'll get females, just takes patience. In the meantime, you can refine your growspace. There are soo, many ways to mounts cfl's its not even funny. You could mount some on the back wall of the closet too. Get some big sturdy L brackets and build off of em.

Pics from Freja are inconclusive...gonna keep taking pics, seems my camera is being a POS and not focusing where I want it. May have to use the manual focus.
Wish I had noticed prior to transplanting, guess I'll dump all that soil back in to the bag and use it later on...aside from the experience that's 5 weeks down the drain on those two. Sucks because I've barely been able to smoke the last few months due to finances, looks like it may stay that way for a while. C'mon Freja! Be the Goddess of Fertility that you're named after dammit!!! *goes to get another beer...* Edit: Not sure Freja is showing any preflowers, can't find any...keeping my fingers crossed, but boy did this ruin my mood for the evening. If Freja doesn't pan out look for a 12/12 attempt from me next.
