Legal in the USA?

Hi all

Random question, not sure if it belongs here or not (sorry if it doesn't).

Traveling to the states in April/May. Are there any states in the US where weed has been decriminalized and is available for purchase legally without a medical card? Or is it still illegal in every state?

Still illegal on a federal level for everyone, on a state level unless you have a card or paperwork.

No state is it legal to buy or sell w/o MMJ card and even then it's still against federal law. However, many states have made small quantities a civil offense ( you get a ticket and small fine). Check out NORML marijuana state laws for wherever you are going to visit.

Breckenridge Colorado has made possession of an ounce (28.34 grams) or less no crime at all for those over 21 years old, however, it is illegal to buy or sell it there and still against state and federal law.

In Colorado, if you are giving away, no charge, an ounce or less it is a $100.00 fine as long as you follow state laws about how close to a school / daycare center etc.. you are and everyone involved is 21 years old +.
