At about 4pm, today, a helicopter came swooping in on my property, flew around for several seconds, then flew away. Definitely surveillance going on. What are the legal justifications for such an "aggressive" visual inspection on a person's private property?! Does such a low flying helicopter have to have a search warrant before the fact? What should I expect, guilty or no? This is pretty screwed up, so I do not want any harm to come to my wife or my dogs, if the jack-booted LEO come crashing in!

Depends where you are and what you got going on, or your neighbors.I believe fly overs are legal in the U.S. as everything is in public view. In my experience the man does what he wants and if you don't like it get an attorney on retainer.

We have low flyovers all the time in unmarked choppers.
