I've heard good things from Dr. Brown as well, but I'm curious to know if you've ever had an encounter with police in Fresno involving cannabis and what they're reaction was to the recommendation.

So I'm curious, I've heard good things about dr. brown too.. but I'm curious if you've ever had a police encounter in fresno where you had to show your paper work, I'm curious if fresno police actually recognize it and leave you alone. I know fresno police seem to be very strict so that's why i'm curious.

fair enough, so I'm curious are there any no-no's that I or anyone else getting a reccomendation should be aware of? like for example if I or someone else with a reccomendation were to take walk, and be walking in public on the street smoking a blunt for example, would there be any problems with that? would I still be legal or would I be breaking any guidelines? would that then be considered public intoxication or how would that work out? I'm curious

lol i didn't ask a question to be stupid, it was a genuine question, im not looking to show off, but I wanted to know from someone with experience preferably if this is ok to do without legal trouble. Im not looking to be a rebel.. lol jumping to conclusions like that would be silly

Being a former Law Enforcement officer I was told that the California Highway Patrol & Sheriff departments have been instructed to obey the SB420 card and not to confiscate or harass any legal Medical Marijuana user with their proper certificate. As far as smoking in public, i would use wise discretion in smoking in public.

I think what Moose is saying is that should be common sense to know better and if you do have a legit reason to obtain a card then you should have a little more knowledge then that about what is allowed when registered. Smoking any type of cannibas in public card or not you are looking for jail time or at least some very avoidable harrasment by the police because it is illegal to smoke in public or should I say where the public can view you or smell it. Please if you are legit stay within the rules because it will hurt us all in the end if not.......thanks!

thank you, I appreciate you respectful answer. It seems that some people like to respond on forums in a way that puts down the poster for having a legit question if it seems unreasonable to them. I appreciate your honesty as well as maturity in this matter :)
