Incredible story. Good for her. I was a paramedic for 12 years. Many of those as a flight medic. I got out of EMS because I could no longer stomach the institutional pushing of drugs and procedures that seemed to only help the doctors, hospitals and drug companies make a profit. I love reading stories about parents doing right by their kids. I love passing those stories on too. Thanks for posting this one.

Wow, how brave. It takes insite to look pass the peer pressure of society and their version of right and wrong. That mom may have just saved the life of alot of children on dibilitating drugs. She's a hero in my book.
