Somewhat of a medical question

A few weeks ago i had to go to the clinic because i was having a bad panic / anxiety attack, this was after stopping smoking for a few days ... had some shit happen and had to quit. Now they have me on a generic of paxil, first week on this shit was almost death to me .. really thought i was going to die, couldn't eat, sleep or anything just felt like a zombie ... now i'm leveling off on this med and want to start smoking again. Will smoking and taking this med affect me in anyway? I want to get off of this shit and start smoking again, i've hated taking pills ever since i was a kid, even for headaches.. just didn't seem natural to me .. The problem i have is finding the right weed for anxiety / depression, I live in NY and can't get my med license. don't get me wrong I've had kind of a rough life and been depressed ever since my mom left me when i was about 12, anxiety started after i stopped smoking, weed was really the only thing that kept me from taking my life through my high school years and even after that because i had something to look forward to.

See these meds i'm on are bad, really bad shit ... like a hard drug, i see them as a white powder, if you know what i meen .. only in a pill. Can't just up and quit them like i did buds. So will smoking with these pills affect me?? I've always smoked on 4/20, can't stop now. Sorry for such a long post.

Should be fine. I've never heard of any problems with MJ interacting negatively with any prescriptions. I tries 3 different arthritis medications before I gave up and just rely on MJ. Puked my guts out on that other crap.

Thanks for the replies, probably should of searched first before posting. Going to have to start smoking, especially to get to bed, didn't get hardly any sleep last night and had to be to work for 7, wish i could find a heavy indica. Thanks again.

Paxil is terrible. I've known people that just can't get off of it. It's a terrible addiction.

Won't interact with each other in the slightest. Go back to smoking weed, maybe cut back a little. If you have anxiety problems again just try to reduce how much you smoke, don't suddenly stop smoking otherwise often it will worsen the problem. Talk to your GP about it.

Stop junk carbs (sugar, cakes, Twinkies, bagels, white bread, etc.). Put more raw greens in your diet. Helped me.

I have severe anxiety problems and I kid you not, smoking cannabis is the perfect medicine for anxiety. I would try to get off those chemicals the doctors are giving you and just smoke. Sativa is a good strain for you, it will keep you calm and relaxed, but you might get tired. Good luck man, best of wishes!

Geo- I have a hard time eating anything green, kinda weird but i always have. I like the live off of the land theory but, just really doesn't work for me, do love venison though. As long as i smoke once or twice a day i'm good, used to blaze all day cause i didn't have anything to do .. now that i have a job and am keeping busy i'm alot better. Besides anxiety/depression i have severe anger problems, get mad really easy. I'm doing alot better now though. Wouldn't a heavy indica strain be better for me, slow my thoughts down, get me to sleep better. ? Maybe I'm wrong ..
