when smoking, being high tends to make whatever feeling you are, more pronounced. so if you are feeling in a kinda of crappy mood, smoking will make you feel more in a crappy mood.
i guess try figuring out what the root cause of your mood is, from there you should be good.

Pot is not a cure all for everything.
I use it to reduce stress in the evening, and take a couple hits 2 hours before going to bed. I also have found that it relieves the discomfort I experience since tearing the rotator cuff (3mm's) 4 years ago. By the time two hours has past, I'm sleepy, and my mind is distracted enough to allow my body to go to sleep. I deal with the pain all day long, and still take the anti-inflamatory drugs, but they just don't seem to help as much at night when i want to sleep. I sure wish I could discuss my findings with researchers. I'd like to find out if it is the THC giving the relief, or some other substance hidden in the smoke. If I were allowed to grow my own marijuana, I would try cooking with it, instead of smoking it. But for now, I can only afford $20 a month, which buys a 1/4 ounce of some seedy, stemmy, green medicine ($240 a year). There are a lot of new drugs out on the market over the last 4 years, and I've tried most of them. Some have helped, but over any length of time (6 months or more), it is not as effective. What I find shocking is how the federal and state government have insisted (and threaten) doctors, to refrain from prescribing pain medication (both legal and illegal). Just ask any othopedic doctor why they don't precribe more pain medication, and most will tell you it raises red flags to the FDA, and most do not want to deal with an FDA audit, hence their patients lie in pain, while the FDA and the DEA fight a losing war on drugs. The doctors/researcher, and the DEA/FDA, are in a war of there own. |
