hi my wife has been diognosed with sleep apnia was wondering if mm would be benifical.

I just Googled "sleep apnea marijuana" and indeed, it does appear there were some studies done that appear to help regulate breathing... looks like a fair amount of info out there for you to sift through...good luck.

Sleep apnea is a disorder in which you stop breathing during sleep, and as a result wake up many times. This causes you to never get down to deep sleep which is required to refresh the mind and body. Cannabis definitely helped when I suffered from sleep apnea, but more so because it helped me be able to tolerate the required breathing apparatus. Imagine trying to fall asleep wearing an industrial respirator and you'll have an idea of what it's like. I no longer suffer because I've lost a lot of weight and that was what caused it in me. There are also people with defective sinuses who can have it corrected with surgery, cannabis isn't likely to help them.
