I feel we need to take as many opportunities as we can to lobby the candidates. So I will be letting everyone know about opportunities to do so. Let's try to get some bodies to these events.

Dick Olsen is someone I would particularly like to get on our side and into office: he is running against one of our worst opponents, Andy Olson one of the Republican Leaders.


Linn CO Candidate Forum

The Committee to elect Dan Thackaberry, HD17 and Linn CO Dems invite you to a Candidate forum, also featuring candidates John Kroger, for Attorney General, Dr. Bob McDonald, SD9, Dick Olsen, HD15, and for the Linn CO Commissioner's race, Pete Boucot and Gordon Kirbey.

Doors open at 5.30, forum will begin at 6pm, a selection of food, wine and beverages will be available, and music will follow.

I have personally met Dick Olsen, and I feel he is on our side. We didn't have direct discussions about the matter, but in the conversations we did have. I gathered that much. I know he will be getting my vote.
