I finally got the courage to check on my patch's.2 of them are still under water.The last one only 4 plants are still alive.Better luck next year.

Sorry to hear of your loss Kush, hope your other valuables remain intact. News looks scary.
Perhaps time take that two finger bag of seeds you don't intend to grow and set them free. Give mother-nature a chance to start a couple of patches just to remind the cops that it is unnatural to try to eradicate a natural plant.

If you look at google earth, you can see how big the miss gets when it spreads out the nutrients. I still don't understand why we still build on a flood plain. They say we(taxpayers) saved millions because we bought out houses from the last flood, and didn't allow people to rebuild in certain areas.

Looks like we shoulda bought out more of them.

Ya im on hold myself, i spend a lot of time in the marsh and it isnt a marsh right now, everything is chilling amoungst the ferns waiting for dry ground for their final home. im glad to be using grow bags but damn ants keep moving in to the dry dirt. borax and honey does it work?

I live 75 miles from the Mis.We have had over 12 inches of rain in 3 weeks.

I think its a loss.Have the waters receded?My patch's were about 5 miles from the sangamon river.

Its a total washout this year.We had about 3-5 more inches of rain this week.
