Depends on the cat. My 4 cats are indoor only cats - 2 dont eat plants, 1 is a nibbler, and the other cat... look out... if given even a few moments alone the damage can be swift and severe. I started growing pansies as decoys lol.

In earlier grows my cat just laid by the room and didn't do anything, but this most recent one, I had three that had sprouted and I left the door to the box open for a few hours, and next thing I know, I have one plant left.

at one time we had 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 lovebirds, 2 chinchillas, 1 rat and 1 iguana in a 1200 sq ft home.....
