What determines tier spacing?
What determines the spacing in tiers of leaves. Is it strain specific? Is it related to phorsphrous? What determines the distance of stem between the new tiers of leaves?

The enviroment is extremely important but strain and genetics does have a part in internodal stretch. Pure sativas will "always" have a longer stretch between internodes than a pure indica will.
