Hello everybody... I'm new over here but i've never seen such a good forum.
I bought a 4 bucket of 2 gallon hydro system from FHD company. But in the moment i'm feeding only one plant. The problem is: - How long should i leave the pump ON? - How often do i have to turn it ON/OFF? I've seen people doing 15/15min ON/OFF is that correct? Thx |

Re: How to FEED Hydro Bucket System?
You've lost me on what type of set up your asking about. Is it drip? how big is the reservoir?

Re: How to FEED Hydro Bucket System?
I'm curious about this also, as I enter the 'Hydro' ranks...
My drip irrigation table came with the recommendation to set the timers for two, 5-minute waterings daily. The minimum drip is at a rate of 50mL/min (1.6 fl. oz) or about a 1/5 of a cup per minute. I am assuming that you would incrementally pyramid up the amount of water being delivered to the plants, just as you would with lighting intensity, nutrient concentration, etc. But that's a good question: When the plants are transplanted into the Hydro drip system, where do you start...what is the optimal watering schedule? *****, Boss, berry...? |
