I think we need votehemp.com links here on the website. It's such an important organization as important as mpp.org. I don't think enough ppl are aware of this organization and it really needs to become part of the mainstream , if we are to educate ppl on hemp no better way than to have an orginizations presence that represents the movement with full on integrity.

which organization do you feel is more worthy of our support,
HIA: Hemp Industries Association: Industrial Hemp Trade Group, Education & Industry Development or Industrial Hemp Information and Advocacy - Vote Hemp

we cannot link out to everyone, only the select few non profit organizations who actually fight for us in court...
but i do agree we should be supporting at least one of them as well, good looking out on this one for sure!

it was always my understanding that votehemp was a profit company run by eric streenstra and the guys from dc who do the smoke in... they have hands in all kinds of hemp businesses from what i have heard... i think hia is the only true non profit hemp organization out there... but i'm not sure if they are just a mailing list for the hemp industry or if they actually fight for us in court... i could be wrong...

So although both have the same "owners", the votehemp site is the non-profit while the HIA appears to be a for-profit trade organization.

okay so it seems that eric took over the hia after he started votehemp and got hia's approval... i was a member of hia from around 1993 - 2003, but decided they were just a mailing list of hemp businesses and organizations who weren't really doing anything for us in court...

once i hear from a few more of you regarding votehemp.com, it seems they may be added to our 420 Action forum moderated by Jimbo.

Yes sir...thats how I was raised too. Sometimes putting others ahead of yourself is stressful, but at the end of the day, it's a good feeling to know that you did the right thing. Just don't let it consume you bro
