"Last Page" links

So, I've noticed that the "last page" links for a specific forum topic point to the actual numbered last page.

i.e. My Girls

I'm wondering if I can somehow create a link that points to the last page no matter what the page number is. For example, if I were to use the previously noted url, it would always point to page 8 of that post. I want a url that points to the last page, no matter how many posts are in the thead.

i'm not sure how to do exactly what you want (someone else perhaps). but if you use the post number (top upper right hand corner of each post) it will direct people to that specific post.

Sorry... I had posted the text of the url... but the system converted it... here...

This url will take me to page8 of that post, but if I want to create a link to the "last page", and I use that url, it will always take folks to page8. When page nine or ten are added, the url will still take me to page 8, not the currently last page.

Get it? I want to add a url to my sig that takes folks to the last page. I could update my sig every time a new page is added, but I'm really quite lazy.

its pretty easy to edit your sig. i change my quotes pretty often and just use the quick links menu/edit sig.
like i said someone probably knows stuff i don't. no really 8-)

Url should be "new-post" instead of the page number.

Thanks for the yummy rep!
I can't really claim any "research" action tho... I simply noticed that the email links sent by the system included the "new-post" option in the url. Not really research... just a knowing eye.
