I would go with at least 18 of light. There are strains that grow OK even at 12h but most will give you a decrease yield.

You could have went the other way. Water just a little and work your way up to runoff.

Bigger exhaust and intake. Aluminium is not good it creates hot spots and may hurt the plants, idk if it generates heat but you would be better if you paint the box white or buy mylar witch is cheep and way better then aluminium...
