Im just going with a small Diaphram pump right now, its not even rated in gpm, i plugged it in and it was a small stream but itll do the high pressures i think i need.

I should have gotten the next pump size up and probably eventually will have...
Where is your Resevoir? Is it in your actual grow room?
I also had this issue, I pretty well lost my grow to it because i ended up getting too much algae - it was in the lines, in the pump, - everywhere basically.
Another issue i had that i think contributed to the heat was that in the...
1 psi = .454 feet of head.
for pvc youd would also have to find out your friction losses for each fitting and pipe.
then you get a pump curve and find the appropriate pump for the feet of head you need.
i think each sprayer would have a friction loss to..
As far a GPH goes thats where you need...
I hear yah, there's a huge learning curve.. i've blown 1 grow already.. but im taking what i can from it and moving on. the next one is going to be a lot better.
I think you're correct on that. from what i read.. and ill quote it here.. "Some people do use foggers and call it a day, but the foggers create droplet sizes smaller than 50 micron, which is outside of the max efficiency range NASA observed. However, it can be debated whether or not droplet...
LPA i dont think you can over water, although i just did one and i found it nice to run the sprinklers at 30 sec on .. to even like 5 mins off
with HPA here's a good read. High Pressure Aeroponics - Grow Tech - The Hot Pepper
from my understanding you only want the roots to be damp, never wet.
Just had a bit of an algae problem which plugged my nozzles (probably because my res was too high). Kinda made me think about getting a filter, im just wondering if this is a good idea between the pump and the manifold? Will it filter out nutrients ? Does anybody else recommend this or should...
Realistically in hpa you shouldnt need to trim roots as long as you have a big enough grow box, correct me if im wrong. I think in LPA its a different story.
