@TorturedSoul I completely understood what you wrote and I agree. That's another reason why I think it would be cool to do it however I just wanna grow some buds and have fun with it. What works for some growers may not work for others as there are so many environmental factors that will have a...
Yeah.... Comparable is the wrong word. Growth in dwc will be faster for sure. I was just thinking just a cool experiment and take everything else into account like amount of work/maintenance, nute usage, veg time, etc vs amount/quality of yield
To be honest, sounds easier said than done so...
Thanks @bluter, I was going with the ability to go longer between "feeds" but bigger plants in small pots is definitely a good advantage to have.
That's my thought here. The key is finding that balance that you mention between too much water in the reservoir and stagnant water. I like the 5...
Week 10 update
Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been pretty busy around here now that summer has started.
Wedding Cake clones
Nute mix at 1.6-1.8ec, 5.8pH. Watering 1 gallon nutes every other day with 2qt run off. Using recharge and Mykos once a week.
Defoliated and lollipop at week 3...
What's going on fellow Hempy growers, here is a quick update on my wedding cake clones. Entering week 4 of flowering. Watering 1 gallon nute mix per plant every other day with about 2qt run off.
Someone mentioned that a 5 gallon Hempy buckets is too much. I am looking do my next run on hempys...
Don't go camping for 2 days and leave your large plant in a little solo cup without water.
I knew this would happen but I was hoping it wasn't going to be that bad. I even water/feed her all the way until the last minute friday but 2 days was 1 day too long.
Bringing her back to health...
Welcome aboard @WilliamJBud !
Looking good, definitely bushing out a bunch! How long did you veg them?
Be careful with bringing bugs in and keep your humidity high during veg (not an issue during spring/summer in michigan)
Welcome @Althegardener2 ! I can only imagine how things were back then, I heard good and bad stories about cannabis from back in the day. That era definitely had better music though! Glad everyone in Michigan can now enjoy it recreationally
Well said @TorturedSoul. I will be trying this once I get to cloning phase of strains that I want to keep.
That's interesting to clone while still attached to the plant. Sounds like reverse grafting. Pretty cool
