    What are the best HPS bulbs-brand?

    I've used Maxlume, Hortilux Lumitec and Growlux. Prices vary to where you buy them. I see no big difference. In-fact the cheaper ones last longer. Spend $40 each or $80 for almost the same thing, Tomato, Tomatto ya know. I only buy Eco-tec now. 600watt bulbs for $34.99 and they last 6-8 months...

    Purple Stems

    I have been having this problem too. My plants look just like the ones in the pics. I have a PH tester and have been watering with a PH of around 6, and I just noticed this "Purpling" this morning. What else could cause this?

    The better medicine

    I moved to a medical state (Michigan) from Florida to get away from pain killers. I served 55 days in jail in Florida for marijuana, but it was ok to be dope sick from Oxycontin. I have lower back problems, and Oxycontin does work, but there are so many side effects. Now I smoke the pain away...

    Summer heat

    I live in Michigan. It's hot now, but will be cold soon. What is the best way to maintain temps? My plants are in veg, and doing good, but I have a lot of air flow on them. The room stays around 83F. I want to drop that about 8 to 75. What is a affordable way to do this?
