How did you try to make your oil? What procedure, 100 % ISO alcohol ? Did you decarb the buds before ?

If you wrap the buds in foil and let them cool off for at 30 min before you open them, you'd be surprised at how little odor there is, especially compared to a conventional oven.

Something like this is what they should look like. Let the buds cool off for at least 30 min before opening them up. That makes a lot of difference believe it or not. 245 - 250 degrees, for 45 min. Be sure to cover them with foil, (dull side out) or they will burn up. Don't grind the buds either, just break them down into pellet sized pcs. Thats the one I have. I have my temp knob set just over 4.
