I thought I'd share this, because if you read some of my older posts, you'll see I had mite issues and fungus gnats etc. It took me about a year to figure out the main cause.
My floor!
The floor was still the normal base floor of a unfinished room. It looked like building rubble. To fix this...
So I picked up one of my seedlings and underneath I saw half a worm trying to get back into the container, and another smaller one. Here's the smaller one:
I know earthworms are good. But I've read you also get "root" worms, which would be bad in this case.
I know the picture sucks, but can...
Thanks for the input! Much appreciated.
Yes, I'm very skeptical about drying buds too fast. That's the whole point of curing etc. Is to do it SLOWLY. You don't want your buds to be ready for containers in less than 7 - 10 days, otherwise they dried too fast.
I'm thinking of just putting the...
I've been growing for about 2 years now and I now want to move all my drying and curing and everything into one room. I no longer use tents, so I need some sort of drying rack if I want to keep my buds in the same room. The product I found is a typical drying rack, but:
a) It blocks out light

I created a follow up thread to this post here. Thanks to everyone and some messing around, I was able to figure out the issue was the PH. It only took me months and cost me thousands of dollars, but did my first harvest yesterday so I'm back on track!
My tap water annihilated my plants for 4 months straight before I realised what was going on. I switched to distilled water with the correct PH levels and the plants have been fine since. The problem is that distilled water is expensive. I got "ph down" and I'm ready to try water that I...
I'm back on the fence regarding this. There are so many people who are vehemently against bud washing. I've even had local growers (who's weed is amazing) look at my very strangely when I tell them I wash them. Some of these guys have also blamed the "fluffiness" of some of my buds due to the...
I ended up getting a "wilma" kit. Not sure if I'm even allowed to mention it. It sounds like the easiest way to get into hydro. It's basically just a big tub with slots for 4 plants. I only created clones today so I only need to set up the hydro part a bit later. I'll update as I go.
What I...
I've sorted out my water issue and I understand PH's better now. So I want to stick with dirt, but at the same time start learning about hydro. Just one plant would do and after reading a bit, it really sounds like a lot more fun and you will get far superior results in a shorter period. So...
Thanks for this! I do think this might be it. I'm afraid of them not getting enough nutes, depsite the soil I'm using saying that is perfect from start to finish. And I think I may have done exactly what you described here. I'm going to stick to distilled water until the plant is bigger. Thanks!
