The lower wattage bulbs are more efficient meaning you will get more lumens from ten 100W CFL's than five 200W CFL's...and as yarddog said better light distribution since CFL's don't "throw" lumens very far.

I had a little bud rot on one of my buds I was air curing...I generously snipped off the affected areas to help ensure I didn't miss any and that was the end of the rot. I wouldn't start over just yet...trim her up a bit and see how it goes.

Both of my grows flowered for 11-11.5 weeks...don't go by timeframe or you might screw yourself royally in regards not only to potency but yield. Have they gone through a second growth spurt yet where they got a little taller but noticeably fatter? Both times mine have had this spurt at the end...
