Personally I keep the extra height.
If you raise it by 2 feet all you have to keep in mind is that your space is 25% larger than if you left it low so calculate your ventilation accordingly. As it's only a vertical change lighting stays the same.

Personally I'd flush them both with a diluted mix you'd normally use.
Whenever I have issues like this I will make up 2x pot volume 1/4 strength and pump them with it. After that I'll wait an hour and give them a normal feed.

I use 25L fabrics with clay pebbles top and bottom at a depth of 2-3cm and works really good in my DTW setup. I reuse the clay pebbles each grow.

I too used to use a lot of hid watts in a small space and when I did the switch to 2x hlg 260 panels I've found that my 480watts at the wall is enough for my 4x4.
@Budget LED a site sponsor sell comparable lights to hlg so go check them out. Maybe start with one for that space.
Fair enough. You can always adjust the frame by trimming the poles, I did that so it suited the setup. A high frame can lead to height issues in my experience.

In regards to scrog height for a 2m ceiling you'll need to factor in min clearence for size of your light I like to add 2' onto this for any growth through the scrog frame. That's what i do so hope the info is helpful.
