    Plant probs - 1st timer - Hydro - Coco

Dont run 2 buckets. I suspect roots are sitting in water. Put the one bucket on a brick or a step stool to raise it up. Drill a small hole in your drain tub and put it on the stool and the plant bucket in the tub. Put another tub or bowl, anything to catch the water when you get run off, under...

    Plant probs - 1st timer - Hydro - Coco

2 qt is not enough water. You need to water coco to at least 10 percent run off. If you dont ypu can get nute lockout and possible over fertilization. Flush it really well with 5 gallons of pure water wait a day and do it again. I agree, look at your feed schedule again and start o er. It is...

    First hydro grow

Are you using only the problend? Adding cal-mag? What is your ph? At that stage, dont use more that 5ml per gallon of the problend. I ran botanicare for a long time, a basic veg feeding is 5ml problend base and 5ml cal mag per gallon. Make sure you ph is 5.8 to 6.2 and you are good. Check and...

Novice grower - Starting out with coco and need help

You need to run more cal mag with coco because the coco will absorb and hold cal mag without releasing it.

    Picking a grow pot?

Remeber, a 10 gallon smart pot is not the same size as a 10 gallon standard pot. Unfold it and measure it before you buy it. They are shorter and wider.

    Germinating seeds

Check it when you get home. If it has sprouted, throw it in your starter cube and you are good to go. If not, let it soak for another 6 to 8 hours and check it again.

2 plants in 1 bucket - One is male

When you water/feed use an enzyme like hygrozyme of hydroguard by botanicare. Once a week use a biologic like Recharge or Mycos and you will be fine. Just remember, never grow 2 plants in one container.

Help I can't seem to get her back on track!

What media are you growing in? Soil? Coco? A mix? What is your ph at water in? At run off? What nutes? Alot of info we need to know to give the right advise. It looks like a magnesium deficiency but that could be due to the wrong ph. If the ph is off then it can cause nute lockout which is...

Some detail? Pics? If it is minor you can put clonex, wood glue, hot glue gun, alot of things and wrap it in tape or zip tie it depending on where it is. Sometimes i add a chop stik for support.

Novice grower - Starting out with coco and need help

Dang, sorry, 10 milliliter, 10mL per gallon. If your leaves are fading and getting pale they probably need more food. With coco it is very hard to over water. I have my veg set up on a flood and drain, coco in fabric smart pots. My pump floods every day for 15 minutes and I have no issues. Even...

Novice grower - Starting out with coco and need help

Since they are small, you can pull them out of the pots and wash the coco/lime off and replant them with strait coco. Coco captures calcium and doesnt give it up easily, that is probably why it was suggested to use lime to pre treat the coco with extra calcium. I personaly run strain coco only...
