    New To This Cannabis Growing

Not sure where abouts you live. personally yes it will work. but also remember algae needs light to grow so you can reduce the risk of certain problems by using black buckets. If your in Canada princess auto sells them for 4.99 also my local nursery sells them. worst case paint them or wrap them...

Oh so wet: Simple RDWC build

Great build man !!! Very similar to how i did mine i posted in the DIY thread, so much better then uniseals imo. Super great loved seeing this !! You should take a look at how i put my res outside of the grow space you might like it, i definitely like the milk jug idea inside the buckets. cheers...

    HPS vs LED

Great test i love seeing this kinda stuff done, one thing just be aware that both lights were pretty close that there will be light overlap from both lights so it could affect the results. Having both lights overlap could be better then just running the single led or single hps. Just an...

What is the best bang for the buck in reliable LED lights that won’t fail constantly like my Mars-Hydro do

I agree with all the quantum board or cob setups people are mentioning there are great setups and easy to repair. i went the quantum board way with a hlg 550 and its an awesome light. imo both are better then blurple lights but just my opinion.

    Rez size in RDWC?

You can use a 5 gal bucket as a res but ph and water level drops will be more frequent. Honestly the bigger the res the better. PH will be more stable and more water will be available so if they are drinking lots then it wont be as fast a drop in water level. But also realize that the larger the...

What counts as a pH swing? This ok?

Let it Drift between the low end of the optimal scale to the High end of the scale, depending on how your water is going up or down in ph by itself, let it run through the whole scale so that the plant is able to maximize its time in each range and absorb those nutes at that range untill you...

Best LED's to cover 4x4x6 foot tent?

Cob Led's or Quantum Board or even a mix of the two, for sure. imo they are the best I love them and what you can do with them and they ease of repair etc just awesome in my opinion. I'm running a HLG 550 personally in a 4x4 setup with RDWC I really like the quantum boards.

With Canada's 4 plant limit what's the best approach staying within the new law?

I like the idea of 4 mothers at someone else's place, as per the laws honestly i'm thinking (optimistically) that the law will be revised over time its a pretty big undertaking for a country and doing it right of the start is pretty hard. Also is easier to come out with stricter laws and then...
