Plants naturally show their sex when they get mature, which is usually at around 5 - 7 weeks age. Males usually show earlier than females.
They won’t show sex before they are mature no matter what lighting they’re in.
In my grow usually by the time a plant gets old enough to have...
While I just skimmed the thread, I guess the point of my post was that there is no reason the OP should need to buy a special fridge just for seeds. They take up very little room and seem to do fine in regular fridge or freezer. Seeds I’ve had trouble with were stored on the shelf for many years.
It’s my impression that temperature fluctuations don’t bother them at all.
Edit- I could be wrong about this but my seeds all seem fine after years of in and out of the freezer
Seeds are inactive- in long term cryogenic sleep and get awakened when conditions are right - temps combined w...
Check out Lembatoast’s journals and search around. He had a method of cloning in inflated plastic bags that seemed foolproof.
I think SweetSue did it that way for a while. She would definitely know what I am taking about anyway.
I think it’s probably just the temps getting up so crazy high. Different genetics react differently. I can see the similarities to a reveg but, IMO, I suspect it may be just bolting/foxtailing from heat. It happens to many types of plants in very hot weather.
If I’m right - as for the fluffy...
Ok I expect mainly they’re just bolting from the extreme temps and that’s the main problem to be solved. I don’t live in a hot place but if it can’t be fixed by better ventilation or air conditioning then most people go to LED lighting.
29-30 is ok. Anything beyond 30 is getting a bit hot.
They don’t look like they’re revegging, but is your light dark schedule consistent- no light leaks, electronic device indicator lights on, or people walking in during the dark period?
Maybe they they got a little too much N but from the pics it doesn’t look like main cause.
Different strains and different phenotypes have different needs it’s super common for people to get confused about this and mention how they are confused that some plants in their grow are completely healthy and only some of them have problems but problems have to start somewhere don’t they some...
Which strains did you grow?
I’m not an auto grower so I’m not sure if this is true, but remember SweetSue and others saying that these ruderalis crosses aren’t much for nice smell compared to photo plants.
