Hey Moto, you are bound to get a fair bit of green in your dry ice hash, which makes yield appear more. The dry ice also flash freezes the leaf making it break up small enough to pass through the sieves.

You can clean it though by a couple methods, ”carding” is one method, lots of videos on YTube about the process, I have never tried it. The other method is washing it over a 45 micron screen which is something I do even with my ice water hash.

When I am making ice water hash, I only use 3 screens, 220 micron, 150 micron and 45 micron as a collection sieve.
The 220 catches most stuff you don’t want, the 150 only passes the trichomes and minute pieces of green, and the 45 micron catches the trichomes. You will get a small percentage of large dark trichomes on the 150 screen and they will be pure.

After the water drains from the 45 micron screen, I then use the sprayer on the kitchen faucet, cold water, and wash the hash around the screen to get out anything that isn’t trichomes. This make for some really pure tasty hash.

If you want to go all out, and have the patience, press it and store it for a month or more and it becomes wickedly good.
