    Auto seeds taking forever

Not really from the bank itself (although multiple shipments does suck), but choice of breeder. If you would like to use TN again and stay within your borders, try a different breeder they offer. Try barney’s, dutch passion, fast buds, etc. I think you'll have better luck with a well known...

    Hyena's Never-Ending Adventures In Growing

I had trim run a couple weeks ago from my durban poison/strawberry lemonade trim, and I threw in a zip of fluffy lowers off my super lemon haze. Ended up with 22 little blonde balls at a gram each, plus a chunk that’s 90microns or less. That chunk will probably go for use in canna oil, but 20...

Jack's Land Of The RDWC Autos!

I'd love to let my res water sit for a day with just silica, but it isn't really doable for me. Here's my mix routine for my 20 gal res on my Lab tent. I start shortly after the first feed cycle of the day completes around 8am. 1) Drain res, vac out the little leftover the pump didn't get. 2)...

Jack's Land Of The RDWC Autos!

Note taking is a good thing. Those little boards I picked up a few weeks ago have been workin great for notes on the mixes I have going, as well as other tidbits. I need something other than just text files on my computer for long term notes. Still thinking that one through though.

    Questions about light setting

Oh, the light intensity. I like to run mine on as low of a power setting as possible. I've seen people put big lights at the top of the tent, then run them at 100%. Further distance, less intensity, then as the plants grow they get higher intensity as they need it. I get it, but I've always...

    Questions about light setting

Running the exhaust to outside the room, or outside period, will help too. Exhausting hot air right back into the room will raise the room temps, which raises the tent temp more. Rinse, repeat. A vicious circle, it is.

    Lighting advice

The 600w would be fine. I run a very similar light in my hydro tent, the Growers Choice ROI-E680. 680w (vice 600) in a 4x4 and it rocks the heck out of that tent. Not sure what those lights cost, but if I were doing it all over again I'd end up running to @Budget LED instead. The E680 light...

Jack's Land Of The RDWC Autos!

I know a gallon is cheaper in the long run, but maybe try a liter (or even half liter) first. That way you're not blowin a franklin on something that collects dust. At 28ml/water change, a half liter should get you through a grow with 1ml/gal.

Jack's Land Of The RDWC Autos!

I think at 1ml/gal it’s ok. Is it enough to be of benefit? That part I dunno. But at least at that level (half the recommended dose on the bottle) it’s manageable in a res. I sprung for a blue lab guardian for my hydro setup, and while it’s offline I’m borrowing it for my Lab res. Makes it way...

Long as you know what to watch for, and have down, you’ll be good.

Jack's Land Of The RDWC Autos!

Kinda, but it was all good. I didn't really care, but I wasn't really awake enough (or in the mood) to have to give a tour of the garden at 7:30 in the morning. First point of interest on the tour would be the big, framed license on the wall though. :19: Did the change Saturday and was at half...

    Conifer mulche, combatting fungus gnats

This. They hate sand as it cuts them up like little razors, so they go away. This breaks the breeding cycle, and knocks them out. You'll have to use a little neem or other product to handle the adults initially.

Yep. And will for a few days. She’ll bounce back as long as it wasn’t a complete break.

    Advanced Nutrients: Outdoor & Indoor

It’s not the holy grail, but it is very, very good. It’s also inexpensive, which doesn’t hurt. It is a single part nutrient, good for veg and flower. As time goes on, you simply feed a little more. Direct from their site is best, and you can also read a bunch of information there.

That will work. I use it too... the blue tape of shame. :3:
