I've had several ro systems. This is the best system I've purchased by far. If u get a booster pump it will crank out almost 200 gpd. The booster pump is around $120.

Hey West Hippie! That chart that you reference often ( the one that compares ppm, ph, and water level [ rising, falling, static' ).. I can't seem to make sense of what "Acid ran problem" means. Could you enlighten me please :) Also, I'm still struggling with brown roots which is a bummer. I...
Hey Emilya. Just saw your post in the MC thread. It's safe to say that you are a highly respected grower on this site, and I appreciate everything that you bring to the table. I love your fresh perspective on MC too. Hang in there.
Somewhere on the site I read that Calmag shouldn't be needed in most circumstances. But I'm using RO water + LED's, so I have an increased calcium demand. Or so I thought.
Plus 1ml/gal is seems pretty insignificant to me.
Just throwing this out there for data related purposes. I've only been using MC for a few months now, so I'm pretty damn new to this fert ( and growing in general )..
I've been having issues lately ( brown spotting on mid to lower leaves [ look like Ca issues to me ], and chlorosis on some...
I think you're right ( ml as well ). I usually mix up 50 gallons at a time ( 300g ), so getting to the tenth of a gram isn't a big deal for me. But I can see why it may be an issue if you're mixing a gallon or less.
Here's the one I have been using for a year or two. Seems to work very well. It cost < $10.

Google: flying skull z7
I've only been using it for two weeks now. And root issues seem to be on the decline. That said, I've done numerous things as of late. So I really cant say for sure how much it's helping. But it's not hurting either. Z7 came recommended from some very respected...
Ty for your concern :) Things are slowly improving root wise ( nothing good ever seems to happen quickly when growing - only bad things ). I did wash the gunk off one of my plants yesterday to see how it would react. I'll know more in a few days. I'm optimistic.
I've only been growing hydro for a few months ( rdwc ), so take what I say with a grain of salt.. But I do run bennies w/ MC like yourself. And I'm running at 6g/gal along with CalMag and ProSI ( 1ml/gal ). This puts my tds around ~900ppm.
Whenever I experience rapid ph drops I...
Same here. I bought 2 of their series 3 250w lights and was very impressed.
I sent them an inquiry ( via their web site ) on a Saturday night, and received a response in less than an hour. That simple act pretty much sums up how they do things there.
I just want to throw this out there. And it may not apply in your case. But I've been battling root rot, and trying my best to combat it. One of the things that I've found is that standard white/creme PVC is NOT light proof. If you don't believe check for yourself ( take a piece of PVC in a...
