Boutique Autos Under LEDs: Coco & Mega Crop, Spring 2020

Whoops, meant to come back for an update. CDLC is in jars and curing, around 90g yield. big buds with a bit of a purple hue to them. The Double Grape came down a couple days ago, i think day 90 or 91. She's drying and hopefully I'll be able to trim her up this weekend. She never did really...

Bubble hash at home, to freeze or not to freeze?

Everything he's saying is true. That's literally why freeze drying exists. (obviously not for drying or preserving weed, but other stuff with a high water content). I would do another batch with refrigerated product and take note of yield vs quality and make your own decision based on that.

Boutique Autos Under LEDs: Coco & Mega Crop, Spring 2020

Another one down and into the drying tent. The Creme de la Chem went 84 days. All along I thought this was the runt of the litter. She was short, and had the broadest fan leaves. The stems of the fans were so short she didn't get any light below the top of the canopy. I got fed up one day and...

Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!

I've never chilled my oil, and I've only ever used MCT, so I haven't had to deal with the state change. In my experience, once the three are combined, they stay that way. The only exception would be any little bits of plant material that make it past the 90µ filter bags I use.

Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!

I use sunflower lecithin, same stuff as @Old Salt posted. I add it after the infused oil has cooled down. I used to add it while infusing, but someone, I forget who, mentioned it works better when at room temp. For anyone who doesn't know what @Old Salt is talking about RE the massacre: 2020...

Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The veg oil is just to heat the measuring cup that contains the rosin. After it's decarbed I take it off and let it cool down then infuse it into 1/4c of coconut MCT oil @ 160°f. I use an 1/8th of a cup of the infused oil to make 75x2ml gummys.

Grandpa Likes To Squeeze Stuff: Solventless Extracts, Rosin, Pressed Here!

Hello everyone. It's been a minute. Haven't really been pressing during quarantine, but for some reason my gummy stash has been dwindling :hmmmm: Here's a short vid of ~3g of rosin decarbing on the stove. veg oil @ 240°f until it stops bubbling.

Boutique Autos Under LEDs: Coco & Mega Crop, Spring 2020

Trimmed the Sour Stomper last night and jarred it up. She yielded 107g or roughly 3.8oz. After 12hrs the jars are sitting at 68% RH so I guess we'll loose another ~10%? Will try and get some better pics of the nugs later, lighting in my basement is less than ideal. I'm really looking forward...

Boutique Autos Under LEDs: Coco & Mega Crop, Spring 2020

Well, these are the parts that are yellowing. The rest of the plant looks much better. Just the buds are really airy. Like, even in the top of the colas where it's supposed to be the most dense, there are literal holes you can see through. Will get some more pics later tonight or tomorrow. Back...

So, I did end up lowering down to 4.5g/gallon but the Sour Stomper was still not happy. Checked her over and was seeing a good amount of cloudy trichs. She came down on Saturday at day 75. DG was on 4.5g until yesterday, but started yellowing so she's back to 5g. The buds on this plant are...

Boutique Autos Under LEDs: Coco & Mega Crop, Spring 2020

The LED part of the equation may be bro science, but coco is definitely not. Also, if you look back on the first page, I added it when I started seeing signs, when I was around 3.5g of MC. I know @farside05 also runs a good amount of calmag. And no offence, but when I say LED, I'm not talking...

Boutique Autos Under LEDs: Coco & Mega Crop, Spring 2020

I'm at the end of my original 500g sample, which I got in December or January, so it should be the latest version. I just got a 10kg bag the other day, which should also be latest. I might try like @AdaminCO suggested and drop the MC back to 4.5 and see what happens. Nice, good to know. Thank...

@Backlipslide Thanks, I hope so! @FelipeBlu Thanks for stopping by. I've fed them 5.5g MC and 5ml of calimagic the last two days. but I had been feeding them 5g / 5ml since around day 35. The light is as high as it will go, and the tops are anywhere between 22-28" away. Temps are between 68 F...

Day 63 Hey everyone. Hate to just pop in like this after such an absence, but something has been going on with my girls. This started about a week ago when the tips on the top of the plant started changing. At first it was just yellow, then it started to get a bit brown, and lots of tips...
